TSRPR Expanded Bonus Room Tileset (updated 18.06.2015)

When I was playing TSRPR (The Second Reality Project Reloaded - a SMW Hack by FPI), I had a wish to rip a Bonus Tileset from this game. It took me a few days to rip, expand and recolor the tileset in 5 different colors.

Here's the final result:

Credit goes to:
FPI - for the main tileset and backgrounds;
h2643 - for the tileset ripping, expansion, recoloring and a sexy bonus coin (and of course tileset boxes for PGE).

Also you can place background objects (Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, P-Switch and Bonus Coin) on Sizable Blocks, so they won't look bland.

Whoa, they are cool! Also the slopes are good.
It is good if yoy make these tileset in other colors, because the background heve other colors.

Very cool that you ripped the tileset and expanded it with the use of slopes. (Remember to give credit to FPI, though!) Also, you should do all the colors - I've always liked this tileset. However, the edges for the some of the slopes look a bit off. Below I give an example of how it should be corrected:



As you can see on the left image (without the red rectangles), I continued the pattern to cut down on the space between the pattern and where the outline of the actual tileset begins (that is, the brightest orange space). On the right image, I show which rows were altered with the use of those red rectangles.

You should consider doing that for all of the slopes, just to make it look a bit nicer. It may not be the best way to go about it, but it's at least better than how it is now, in my opinion. Other than that great work!

Quick question? Even if credit is given, Im highly sure that you shouldn't really rip a custom graphic made by a user for his own use. Isn't that considered stealing as you are making his hard work available for public use without his consent?

Pretty much what StrikeForcer said, during the time when NSMBX was still up, we got bitched at by SMWCentral because someone ripped a handmade graphic from someone's hack without permission from the user. Unless the author said you can use the graphics in any way somewhere, I'm gonna have to remove this unless you ask FPI if you can rip this into SMBX. I won't remove it yet, but still, keep that in mind.

Ooh, good to see - I really like this tileset. Thanks for ripping it, by the way. I think the power-ups incorporated into the design look really good.

Guess what... after 1 year THIS IS UPDATED!!!

Well, not much has changed, but... I've added 4 new recolors, 6 new backgrounds and tileset item boxes for PGE Editor!
