So I just came up with a fun idea, but I'm going to need some outside input to make it work. Basically, I write out a battle competition between video game characters, but I need nominations from YOU guys! Details are here: http://hijacked-by-ganon.deviantart.com ... -500615234

Well played. Lemme rephrase my guideline for that: only characters that originate in video games. Should have seen that coming...

Also, about Captain Toad. Fun choice, but what kind of weapons or skills could he bring into a fight?

No, because they would win without any sort of effort. Apart from their basis in anime, they're just FAR too strong to make this a fair fight by any means.
Oh, btw, Turtwig: Which incarnation of Mega Man do you want to nominate? There's been a lot of Mega Men around

Firstly, I second this vote for sure. Secondly, I would say implementing some of his P-Ups from Treasure Tracker. I haven't got the game yet since Australia has the last release in the world of Jan 3, but the Super Pickaxe would be a good start as a weapon. It seems highly effective considering it is a limited item. Another attack/weapon could revolve around his new turnip tossing power as well. Naturally an old reference to SMB2, but I suppose you could get pretty crafty with it.

But only thing... SHE NOT KNOWS FLY.
