It's been my secret wish to learn how to DM/GM/Keeper a tabletop game. LET'S POLL THE SMBX COMMUNITY FOR INTEREST.

You should show me your support/reasons why oyu picked what in this thread. You should also post what you picked anyway so I can mental note that you wanted to play XYZ. Posting here and maybe letting me know a good idea of what you want (it'd help) will be useful for when I need to get people around for forming a party.

Also let's talk tabletop games.

(Don't worry about how we'll play these. I will definitely have us covered if we get to that step.)

Pathfinder, please.

I want to role a Halfling Bard hopefully.

EDIT: I chose Pathfinder because it is a direct upgrade from Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and is pretty much one of the more active tabletop RPG that people seem to be interested in. It has a lot of flexibility and its resources are DRM free and can be downloaded from various places, all legally, which is cool. Its current official database is huge itself, and the community only expands it with third-party content.

EDIT 2: Also I've DM'd about 3 Pathfinder campaigns in the past and am still DM'ing 2 of them at this current time, one of which features users that were part of the SMBX community! Yay for me I guess.

Same here.

I already have my Arctic Half-Elf character done, mostly because I intended it for my irl DnD group, but too fucking bad I won't be getting to that any time soon. I voted for Pathfinder because that's the source he uses and what I'm most familiar with.

Apologizing for the necrobump, but, I have not forgotten about this.

Having recently dabbled into Pathfinder. I can if we form a group DM it the best I can. Feel free to post again to confirm that you've wanted to play Pathfinder, and we should meet up in IRC at some point to put together a (preferrably STEAM) group so that we all can converse with eachother without having to show up on SMBX. It'd be leagues easier that way.

To reiterate, having Steam (Or Skype. We could do Skype.) will greatly ease the groupmaking; as such, I will strongly ask that you use either or of those to keep in contact with me and your fellow players. Don't post contact info in the thread unless you really want the community to just have it. I won't be adding you until we are getting the Pathfinder ball rolling between me and you. (Hint: See me in chat first.) (Double Hint: See me in chat on the weekends first.)

I'm interested, all the way interested. I'd love to partake in this.

My Steam is in my signature, my Skype is dannybud99, but I'm almost never on it. Let me know when this thing is going to happen or try to keep me updated or whatever since I'm getting busy with a holiday coming up but I should be on a lot more after Thanksgiving.

I'm thinking Steam group with announcements. If you can't be bothered to get on steam, I can work around that, but I will be requiring you at least pop in every once in a while to check the updates.

And yeah, when we decide a date. I need you to make it. Spare no expense. I'm not going to wait if you go, "yeah no i was busy even though I agreed to this date"

As mentioned before, I would really like it if you used steam, but after difficulties, I wouldn't mind just using a thread like this to organize with you all, provided that's allowed. (It should be but I'm betting on the fact that I'm special, not that it's actually allowed.)
