Hello everybody!!
Now, I have been making an SMB1 project recently that I got started with a bit ago, and I wanted to share it with you to get your opinions on it.

Yeah... It kinda sounds already taken, but, with the story and gameplay, It was hard to think of something different. Please suggest new names if you feel like this doesn't work.
Anyway, This is an SMB1 project using LunaDLL (because you can do amazing shit with that shit) that I'm making with Sednaiur's AMAZING SMB1 graphics pack + a few other packs to fill in the gap, because Sednaiur didn't put beach set for SMB1 in there, probably because SMB1 doesn't have beaches in it.
It's not really a remake of SMB1, but more like a... More modern... Extension for SMB1. It has a story, along with some gameplay mechanics that weren't in SMB1, which is why I said it was more modern.
So, the story, (which is kinda crap, because It took 5 minutes to think of this)

The Mushroom Kingdom is again saved by Mario & Luigi because that's what they do in all of their games. Bowser gets sick of trying to kidnap the princess to jeopardize the Kingdom, so instead, he breaks in... Wherever the Princess keeps the millions of coins that you get, and steals them. All of them. (This is the reasoning for the title.) And then he leaves with everything they had. Now you have no choice but to go get them all back.

Gameplay mechanics:

Dragon Coins because I want you playing my episode for at least more than two minutes

The map is a bit barren because I can't use some scenes.
I am hiring level designers and beta testers. If you want to help, I'll be glad to let you help. I will PM you if I need help.
If you are a level designer I will PM you with the level folder, filled with all the custom music and GFX in the episode, and when I need a level, I'll ask you to make a level or two. I will give you the tileset to use and I will tell you what is needed in that level (2 goals, certain blocks, etc.), and then I will give you a week or two to create the level.

For now, I'm going to wait on your opinions, as well as new names for the project, because It sounds too much like another project's name to me.

Can't use some scenes? What do you mean? The SMBX error? If so you can use platgenwohl.

As for the scenes on the world map, you have to make a backup of your default worldmap scenery in your SMBX graphics folder and copy scene 26+ (I think, also Sednaiur even put these into a seperate folder afaik) into your default GFX.

Yeah, I know.
It was a very smart thing for Sednaiur to do that with the extra scenes, and I for some reason can't get PlatGenWohl to work on my computer...
I'm going to wait until I'm done with the game to add moar scenery.

And the project looks well, I like all the screenshots and the levels are well designed, I hope to see more progress here, looks interesting!.

Did you got config pack for them?
You always can get laboratory build of PGE to try run them again: http://engine.wohlnet.ru/docs/_laboratory/
P.S. Don't forget to got config pack to start using of PGE Editor (you can get any full pack or take "SMBX Integration" if you wanna save lots of time of downloading)

This looks very interesting too to me, with it's design and quality :-D

It is nice that you like my pack that much, that you build an episode around it, really.
Thank you very much for that ^^.

I did see that I need to make a few connecting blocks for upside-down slopes that connect to walls, since I simply forgot to do some of this kind, and now it produces cutoff this way :-/.
I also already did make a new scenery for underwater levels (custom seaweed), since It was really too empty in the water of SMB1, as it seems.

And about the story or name, I guess it is fine, but most people seem to think too much about it ^^.
For example, when I would do a SMB1 project, the name would be just something like "Super Mario Attack" or "Super Mario Counterstrike" and the story would be something like "Mario and Luigi are performing a counterstrike against Bowser, because he always kidnapped the princess. So now it is time for revenge against Bowser, with a sweet message from Peach herself, for all that kidnapping".
For me it is simple but still never seemed to appear as a story, as far as I know :-P.

I can't wait for your next update on the GFX pack.
The title sounded to similar to another episode IMO.
If it's okay, you can tell me and it will be fine.
