On Topic: Meh, It kinda looks vanilla to me, needs some more recolors more or less.

A good suggestion *coughcough,* but my objective for this episode is to use solely what is in Deoxy's pack (and custom music, of course).

I find that looking through stuff like this helps decide what music to use. At least for me since I'm a band geek :P

I'm terrible at palette swaps though. They take up too much time to do an entire tile-set and I'm always paranoid of using the wrong colors in the wrong place or forgetting something. I will of course take advantage of the custom custom graphics you included (custom custom graphics = the graphics in the "Unused by SMBX" folder). Right now I'm making a level using the purple arches and purple coins.
Also, this is only world one we're talking about, where would be a necessary place to palette-swap?

That should be fine. I currently don't think I need any recolors of any sort at the moment, so...I'll let you know when a recolor might be needed.

Just a little announcement about this: I think I'm going to put the project on hold because I had a brilliant idea for another project. This topic can be locked until I decide to work on this again.
