Just wait until the bellow update is complete, when it is i will warn you.

Hi, visitors! Here's something...that makes this episode feel harder. I have added a world map. But it is only accessible after getting 14 stars. And it is the only way to enter Mario Brother's Plumbing (The recovery house) after entering Mushroom Castle. Why? Because between Mario Brother's Plumbing and Mushroom Castle, I've added a level based off World 1-1 from SMB1. Entering the little castle at the end leads to Mushroom Castle. But you can't go back cause the stair of blocks does not allow you to. Maybe you can pass above it using a raccoon leaf to fly or to double jump with Raccoon Toad or Yoshi. These are the only 3 ways i can think of how to pass above the stair. But raccoon leafs only appear from chapter 2 to forward, and yoshis only appear after 3 stars (At Jurassic Mountain). And at Mario Brother's Plumbing, there's a pipe that leads to the world map, but you need 1 star. That is to prevent players from using the map to skip the 1-1 level, since you can only get stars after passing him. Anyway, you may be able to access the map with less than 14 stars. But you don't need more than 14. You may even quit the game to reappear at MBP after getting a star. But that does not cause any bugs, so it is okay to perform it. Hope you like this update, and don't forget it, download will be available at the first post!

Oh, I've also changed the boss of Cutman's Castle from Mouser to Wart.

Hi, i have another update, and i think you will like this one. To resume, the world map now works properly, and can also be accessed without stars. This is allowed because i changed the way things work. I think that being stuck in a part of the game until you collect some stars adds some tension-feeling to the game. But when you have a world map, the progress can only be saved on the map screen. But now, this problem is solved. How to access the map? Just enter a pipe that takes to it. Mario Brother's Plumbing, Mushroom Castle and Mashroom Island have one of these pipes.

You could have specified the problem better. The first thing that came to my head is that you overlooked the link to screenshots. Only later you told me that the link did not work for you. Strangely, it worked for me and for GhostHawk. Anyway, thanks for reporting me about the link.

It's not necessary, but you shouldn't make so many updates that don't really add anything super special, since that basically just fludds the thread with your posts. Either edit your last post and the original post or just make updates less frequent so each update feels more "special" and maybe update this update with bugfixes, so you can take more time to fine tune your levels and don't put out a new update every day. Only a recommendation though.

Okay, thanks for the info. I think my main problem is that i'm getting out of creativity to make the levels.

It's not about that, but you shouldn't release a new demo everytime you make a new level. You can maybe still make levels, but only release a new demo each month and release new screenshots every week or something.

Yeah, i know, but i think i'm releasing so many updates not-related-to-new-levels because of that creativity problem. If you look at the levels on the editor you may notice how many ideas i have used. And i think i can still release quick updates that contains just fixes for anything being wrong, not new levels or etc. But for that i can maybe just update the download for whoever did not download yet and release just the fixed levels for those who already downloaded.

Is there any prediction for the game's release date? I am kinda curious.

I don't think so. This a a project i only work on when it gives me "energy" to. But when i'm in good disposition, i can get somewhere. But I don't think you people already completed the demo...for some reason. And I hope you can at least get a good preview with that public beta.

I'm not sure if i'm gonna take this project on all alone. If anyone wants to join the development, tell me what you want to do.

Squishy, there are actually screens in the topic, but instead they are Imgur links, not BBCodes. Unlocked topic.

no CGFX a.k.a vanila level
but the design was cool! especially the SMW level.
But some screens looks not good, like cave tiles in the overworld.

Version 0.28 is out, containing 28 fully working stars (hence the name). There's still 4 more stars who need to be done or finished for this to have half of the main campaign complete. But you can already play the 5 new levels and catch the next 7 stars. There's (a bit) more custom graphics too, like (glitchy looking) NSMB goombas in Mushroom Way. Also, this should still be compatible with saves from the previous version, although the next update (Version 0.320 shouldn't be. Well i'll se ya later.
