NOT BGOS but backgrounds for levels. How do you get the graphics from spriters resource and make it in the game without it looking stretched , overly large pixels, or sloppyness?
Wow, really. That must be annoying.Squishy Rex wrote:Generally most will need to be edited to fit. Most of the time they end up being customized in the process, unless by a miracle the background happens to be the same size as one from SMBX.
I suppose I could. They aren't too hard to make usually. Just PM the ones you want.Radishl wrote:Wow, really. That must be annoying.Squishy Rex wrote:Generally most will need to be edited to fit. Do you take requests squishy?
Doing that just makes the pixels look too big, like I stated before.XerX wrote:It's not hard. Just cut the background into a new canvas on your favourite art program, double the size, and replace the background it fits best. Remember bigger backgrounds do work over smaller ones.
The original background is 1x1 pixels. Doubling it would be 2x2 pixels, so it should be fine.Radishl wrote:Doing that just makes the pixels look too big, like I stated before.XerX wrote:It's not hard. Without editing, the size wouldn't be sufficient to replace any BG even doubling it.XerX wrote:The original background is 1x1 pixels. Doubling it would be 2x2 pixels, so it should be fine.
Backgrounds can be bigger than the ones you are replacing.Sirius wrote:Without editing, the size wouldn't be sufficient to replace any BG even doubling it.XerX wrote:The original background is 1x1 pixels. Doubling it would be 2x2 pixels, so it should be fine.
I said if you double the size to 2x2 it still wouldn't be sufficient. It'll need some edits to work.XerX wrote:Backgrounds can be bigger than the ones you are replacing.
You could always increase the space between the clouds and the moon until it is 600 pixels tall, then fill the empty space with that sky color.Radishl wrote:
