This is my new level! (I'm posting this at 11p.m. so I'm kinda tired) I hope you like it! I mixed two GFX folder from Shikaternia GFX Pack, the ruin one and the mountain one and because of that I called this level " Mountain's ruins" (what a creative name)
This level looked really good judging from the screens. The atmosphere was nice through the level though I think a different song should have been used when inside the building.
It's a nice non-linear level but felt a bit all over the place. The first segment was amazing and I wish it was much longer because I really liked the layered concept with clouds at the top.
I would say that's my biggest complaint with the level, I think there should have been less different concept for every screen because some of them didn't fit IMO.
The platform segment for example. Also, the sawblades falling of the track was just weird and didn't add anything to the level.
The second segment felt way too short and the block stacking "puzzle" didn't add anything to the level...
The final segment felt a bit too claustrophobic, I would have widened it by 2 blocks, on the right side to counteract that.
Aside from that though, the graphical style was great, the gameplay mostly really fun to go through. I just wish the level was more of the first segment but bigger.
I'm going to give it a 7/10 - would recommend to play.
It is a good level, but there are some problems, let's start with the placing of the coins, the way you positioned they, was very messy, I recommend groups of 3 coins, this leaves the level with a cleaner look, some graphics are in SMW style while most of the graphics are in SMB3 style, I recommend replacing the SMW graphics.
I liked this little secret that you placed here:
Why all these saws, young man?
The music fits funnily with the level.
It is a short level, with a beautiful tileset, some messy coins, with some mixed graphic styles, good music, easy difficulty I would say, open sections need a little more than decoration, in my opinion.
6.5/10

Mountain's ruins Review
What I liked about the level:
So this is a decent mountain/ruin level. The track you chose for the level was really nice. A really good choice. Really liked the tileset you chose. There was a good amount of sceneries was nice. Gameplay was good as well. Can't say much about it, other than the Key thing you had to do was a nice addition. And the design was decent as well. It was quite fun! And I really liked the secret you placed in Section 2! Really clever.
What I didn't liked about the level:
First off, this level didn't look that aesthetically good. The tileset and the music was great, however I really think that the background could've been replaced with something more apealling. Another thing I found annoying thing I found while playing this level which was pointed out by AirShip and that's the placement of Coins are really weird here. I recommend making small groups of 2-4 Coins. One last thing is that you should really remove some enemies or reduce the number of them, because after the checkpoint I felt there were a ton of them especially at the point where you encountered the fuckton Grinders and at Section 4.
So in summary:
+Good music choice. +Design and gameplay was nice and decent.
- After the checkpoint some areas had waaay too enemies. - Weird placement of Coins. - The background wasn't really fitting.
My Score: 6/10
This level was nice overall, however there are some flaws I think you should fix. Moved to Pretty Good.
