Zelda 2 Short Quest

Hello! This is a Zelda 2 styled level that you travel through the plains, A desert, a forest, and finally the great palace! You have to play as Link or the level is impossible as any other character! And its for one player! Don't play 2 Players!Even though i haven't tested it myself so don't even try it!

Put a link block over p1's start and put p2 somewhere enjoyable but not escapable. (Such as a fake village with npcs (friendly and no talk) and 1 npc that
tells p2 that this level is not 2p, however put a character block there for all characters except link's so p2 can switch and p1 can advance. Make the p2 place escapable (side exit) so if p1 dies they can restart the level, but put link only blocks to prevent p2 from leaving when p1 is about to finish. And make the npc at the p2 area only talk once with events. (talk=turnoftalk [turnofftalk hides npctalk layer and reveals npcnotalklayer] make sure to keep the npc in the same place on both layers) this is so p2 can't mess up p1.

Your really confusing me, could you be more simple?

ok, just a place p2 can't interact with p1, but can do unimportant stuff or something like that. Or a path under p1 so that p1 can respawn where he/she died
but p2 can't get ahead or out. (using events to unlock the path for p2 so p2 progresses with p1 but not ahead) example: killing enemies to remove a block in p2's tunnel. and make sure that link (p1) can't use the path himself. so use link only pass blocks for the area you want p1 to respawn. example:

l=link only block
a= any solid block
b= block to be removed so p2 can progress

1=p1
2=p2 (NOTE) the path HAS to be 2 blocks tall and with no hazards in it.

and put a link character block over p1's spawn and surround p1's spawn with link pass only blocks so p1 cannot be other characters

like this:

l = link only pass block
c = link character block
1 = p1 spawn

oh... in that case just... change player graphics. here's what I'm thinking...

Mario = Red toon link
Luigi = Green toon link
Peach = Zelda
Toad = the old guy in the place he gives you the sword in the first legend of Zelda
Link = Link

You could do other graphics if you want, but these are my suggestions.

Do you know how to quote?

Back-on topic: I think link is going to be the only playable because all the enemies are set to jump-hurt.

Do you remember txt files? Make a text file for EVERY npc your using and put in the file jumphurt=0 playerblock=1

I wouldn't do that bc it would be akward standing on a spike npc since jumphurt=0 removes that.
