UPDATE: 1X1 PIXELS FIXED!!!
So after a fairly long time of recoloring and stuff.. I present to you...

The Golden/Green SMB1 Goomba... (Keep in mind this is my 2nd Graphic ever!)

You made 1x1 pixels with the eyes BTW. Also this looks more yellow than gold.

do you mean under the eyes? i think i see what you mean

I don't think the eyes are an issue, is just the smile that has 1x1 Pixels inside them. Other than that, it Looks nice for a recolor but I don't see them as Gold though. More like in direction of green. Still it's nice.

No it is the eyes. You have to look very carefully because they stretch 3 pixels downward. The mouth is fine.

I think school computer messed up the image a little bit. Now I can see it after I'm on a different computer and monitor device which is weird. Anyway you're right.

I will say I thought it would feel weird to see a mouth like that on an SMB1 Goomba (before this thread existed), but this one actually looks pretty good!

Alright but can someone please point out the 1x1 pixels!! im confused

After looking at it in Paint, I also notice the 1x1 pixels just between the eyes and mouth. When we're dealing with 16-bit, I think they must strictly be even numbers (2x2, 4x4, 6x6, etc...), as tiles are actually scaled to double their size.

It fixed the eyes, but now the mouth has 1x1 even though it didn't before.

Well, I'll miss the mouth, but now at least the image makes sense when scaled down to the normal size.

Getting a brand new detail just right for 8-bit and 16-bit can be difficult.

It's probably not good, but at least it still has the mouth.

Actually, I think that looks almost as good as the first one.

(Now we just need a version with an 8-bit parachute, and we're set.)

i fixed the 1x1 pixels and kept the mouth!

I think the smile clashes with the rest of the graphic, I would make the smile the same color as the eyebrows
