YouTubers do that for their community and mostly the giveaways are associated with special events. You can't just walk up t a YTer and ask for an eShop code either. Big difference.
I don't really think you playing a certain game is something I desperately desire.
It's just $50? That's actually quite a lot in comparison to what we get from it (nothing). You can't just expect people to give you everything on a silver plate.
And really Mods? Out of all the threads you lock, you don't lock this one? This thread should've been reported AND locked long before someone replied to him.
