Because simple forum rankset knowledge, ranks need more posts to obtain per new milestone. 1-5-10-25-50-100-200-500-1000. That's not every rank at the number of post either, that just how it raises. Next it wil probably go 1200-1400-1600-1800-2000 and then start a new at 2500 or 2300 or something.

I think it's slightly amusing that just a couple days ago I had internally guessed that there wouldn't be a rank at 1100 and that you'd have something to say about it.

The reason I think this is unfair is that you're making me do TWICE the amout of work for what would have been worth two changes, but now it's only one.

FOS, the ranks have to become less common over time because they will continue going up presumably indefinitely, and eventually you're going to run out of NPCs in SMBX, so yes it becomes harder to increase your rank over time. As more people will reach 1000 posts, the ranks will definitely be inflated so as to make having more posts more and more interesting.

Also what do you mean doing twice as much "work"? Ranks aren't really that important. If you're posting a lot just to increase your rank that ain't cool. Ranks don't actually mean anything. Yes, they're going to become more inflated. That's how it's been from day one. Deal with it.
