As of February 1st, we have posting ranks! Here I shall keep track of ranks that have been reached. Notice that they aren't here to courage spamming. Spamming in order to get a high posting rank will obviously result in a warning and a ban if continued.

Nice to see ranks implemented again. I'd like to suggest that you switch Red Shy Guy and Goomba though, which would make it more like the classic forums.

Glad you guys finally implemented ranks, as is the tradition in previous SMBX Forums.
I'm kind of going to enjoy finding out what the next rank is... even though someone is bound to get there first, lol. I see though that you guys implemented ranks from SMW, SMB1, SMB2 & SMB3. Mixing up the style rather than keeping it all in one style.

NSMBX closed.
Knux deleted lots of posts so ranks are back to like square two.
SMBXR is almost dead.
Those forums didn't reach their last ranks; so what's so exciting about waiting for something that will take 5 years to reveal - if it is still up for 5 years?

You make a good point. But some people like surprises, they wait to see what the next rank is, I thought we could leave it that way. I mean that doesn't hurt anyone does it?

Exactly, what I've told him in IRC. It's a good surprise to see the next rank, although when I first logged on after the maintenece I admit I said "damn it" but theres always the next rank.

Why? did you not see what people did on Knux Forum? Spammed the shit in Forum Games to gather ranks and then when the merge was announced some people were like "Oh shit i will lost my post count" In most peoples brain ranks just promote them to post nothing useful and it then goes just to i wanna be the guy with the hightest post count ever.
And why are we keep getting SMBXR in here it has nothing to do with this place.

You can see post count in descending order here, if you switch "sort by" to post count -> descending.
