You can't just say your getting close, You have to a specific boss in hell to open it. It isn't just get these items and unlock it you know.

Phaseblades are garbage. You should get a Night's Edge, with best reforge of course, along with good ranged weapons (phoenix blaster & star cannon) for early Hardmode.

I can't find a murmasa... I used up way to many demonite bars so I have none left

. I can't seem to find obsidian... Then I'll try to get a true night's edge in hardmode...

dude,I started a world on the PS3 edition...
got to hard mode in 2 and a half hours.
now I can say you are just as bad as them.
(With the starter supplies too.With myself.)

But are you compensating for the gear required to fully deck out 3 people? Also, he never specified when he got to hard mode, he just said he started the game 6 hours ago (before he made that post I assume).

This may be surprising to some, but I didn't like it, yes my avatar is made in terraria, but I just did that so I could have a Avatar that looks like me in SMBXVUS.

The reason I didn't like it, mainly was because of the insane amount of time it takes to build, it takes less time to mine than it does to build! I personalty think it was a bad game-play choice.
