Play SMBX with a Wii Remote?!

Thats right, you can play SMBX with 1 (Or two) Wii remotes. And I will show you how!

Step 1: Bluetooth

Using your bluetooth PC or.. whatever computer/laptop, open up bluetooth, Add a device, and when it's searching get out your Wiimote and Press 1 + 2 at the same time. You shouldn't have to hold it down, as it will flash by it own after pressing it once! After One is synced, you can do it again with a different one or just use one for singleplayer. If it asks you to input a passcode, leave it blank and click 'next.'

Step 2: GlovePie

Download GlovePie Here: http://glovepie.org/lpghjkwer.php (Or at any other site) and extract all. Then find GlovePie.Exe and run it. At the top click Untitled (The first one) and paste this in:

Key.Escape = Wiimote1.Home
Key.W = Wiimote1.Left
Key.A = Wiimote1.Up
Key.D = Wiimote1.Down
Key.S = Wiimote1.Right
Key.X = Wiimote1.One
Key.Enter = Wiimote1.Two
Key.F = Wiimote1.B
Key.G = Wiimote1.Shake
Key.P = Wiimote1.A
Key.Escape = Wiimote2.Home
Key.K = Wiimote2.Right
Key.I = Wiimote2.Left
Key.J = Wiimote2.Up
Key.L = Wiimote2.Down
Key.N = Wiimote2.One
Key.Shift = Wiimote2.Two
Key.M = Wiimote2.B
Key.Z = Wiimote2.Shake
Key.C = Wiimote2.A

Then click Run (Again, at the top) and the Wiimote should stop blinking.
Then click Stop (Where Run was)

EDIT: Fixed Drop item controls, now both players can drop their own items.

Step 3: SMBX

Fire up SMBX, go to player one controls and enter this in:

Input-Keyboard
Up-S
Down-W
Left-A
Right-D
Run-X
AltRun-F
Jump-Return (Press Enter, NOT on Numpad)
AltJump-G
Drop Item-P
Pause-Escape

Then for Player 2:

Input-Keyboard
Up-K
Down-I
Left-J
Right-L
Run-N
AltRun-M
Jump-Shift (Left or right)
AltJump-Z
Drop Item-C
Pause-Escape

Then go back to GlovePie and click Run.

Hold the Remote sideways and heres a rundown of the Wiimote controls:
Kind of like NSMB Wii

Up-Up
Down-Down
Left-Left
Right-Right
One-Run
Two-Jump
A-Drop Item
Shake-AltJump/SpinJump <--- (My Favorite)
B-AltRun
Home-Pause

Step 4:Fun

Open up any episode/Battle mode and play! Have fun!

This really comes in handy for 2 player or battle mode if you don't have a controler. I want to note I have not tested 2 player mode or battle mode or 2 Wiimotes. I will soon. EDIT: I have tested both, they work.

Problems/Questions? Feel free to reply!

I'm going to warn you guys right now that this is probably a spam post. From what I've heard, Softonic is known for its disastrous viruses--including one that completely wiped the hard drive of my old Windows XP.

Do not try this.

I can promise you this is NOT a spam post. I have downloaded this from softonic but that doesn't mean YOU have to. You can get GlovePie from any site of your choice.I am offended that people would think I would do something like this.

EDIT: I have changed the link to the original GlovePie site. I'm no longer offended and I hope you change your mind about not trying it.

•This was your first post
•Nobody knows you around here
•Softonic, like Deoxys said
•Can I download it from listentoyoutube.com? That's the site of my choice.

►You feel offended.

Yeah... I now realize softonic is NOT trustworthy.. So I changed the link to the ORIGINAL Glovepie website.
And It was my first Post...
And No One knows me...
And No, you can't... I meant any site where you can download GlovePie.
I don't really feel offended now that I changed the link. But I will apologize.

Is it possible to use default controls for player one and the remote for player two?

Default is arrows, shift for item, y for jump, x for run, a for alt jump, and s for alt run?

Yes and no, when using arrow keys with GlovePie and SMBX combined with a Wiimote, the arrow keys can get a little... Glitchy. However Letters and most other keys work.
