Welcome to the Official Multi-Themed Island Adventure Topic in the SMBX Forum! I tried making projects before, the oldest dating as early as late 2009, but this is my first project ever to be shown to the SMBX Community. So let's get to it!
The Multi-Themed Island Adventure is a Super Mario Bros. X project that is a work in progress, but the progress is slow due to having many stuff to do.
It will consist of 5 lands and 2 separate islands (or 7 worlds by Super Mario standards): The Watery Fields (Grass/Water), The Frozen Pathway (Snow/Ice), The Sandy Ruins (Desert/Ruins), The Woody Jungle (Woods/Jungle), The Gigantic Land (Giant), Heaven and Hell (Sky/Lava) and Bowser Island (also Lava).
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, and a few Toads and a Toadette were on a cruiser when a sudden and unpredicted tornado went by and destroyed it. But the Mario Brothers got out in time, but the Toads didn't (well, only two Toads got out of it). The Bros., Peach, and Toadette swam for hours until, finally, they got to land! But this wasn't ordinary land. It was some special land that was left undiscovered. It was grassy and peaceful there, but it was snowing over there, then it was super hot. There's a jungle on that island and giants also roam there. Daisy and the Toads are lost somewhere in the island. Well, it's time for another everyday quest! What was the purpose of the tornado? Was it some kind of natural phenomenon? Or was it someone who created that tornado so it was targeted towards the crew? If so, who would do such a thing?
Most of the Graphics I will use in the project are from the New SMBX CGFX Pack, but I will also use usermade GFX Packs (Like Valtteri's, Txunere's, SilverDeoxys563, etc.)
VGM From:
-Mario, Sonic and many other games and soundfonts, rare and known.

This SMBX Project Looks very interesting and I really like how it goes even for a low amount of Progress so far. Your screenshots Looks relatively neat for unique Level themes like this. Looking Forward to your Progression in the future!
Name: Bomb Brother
Type: Pre-Programmed
Replaces (If pre-programmed): Mouser
Pattern: If you faced Mouser before, you know how it goes. But for beginners, the boss throws bombs at random times. Look for an opening to hit him with the bomb.
This is not a bump. Instead, this is an announcement. I'm making a poll to decide which levels should I put for the 1st demo. You have 2 weeks to vote, and by the end of the poll, I'll continue the progress of the project. Happy voting!
I think that a demo should have some parts of the game(like some levels only), but not really the entire thing of a world or 2. Putting up the entire 2 worlds is more of a beta version to me. My opinion though.

I say all the levels from W1 and 2. The more levels in a demo the better.
This is a huge bump. But it's to inform you that World 1 has been officially completed. Now all that it's left for the demo is World 2, but it might take a really, really big while due to school. I'm going to be more active in SMBX when Winter Break begins, which will begin in less than... 3 months. So anyways, here's a little spoiler:
All those blocks in the top right are very cluttered. To be honest that makes the level look rather messy, whether or not this continues throughout the full level. I'm merely judging this off of the screen. The rest look good so far too, as do the videos you've posted. I'm not saying you should fix that issue with those blocks, but it probably would look a little more flowing. Good luck with the next stage of your project Sewpah!
Man, the title for this game sums up every mario experience.
There's always a desert that's somehow next to the snow level.
Oh and uh, the episode looks fine, but a bit bland, maybe add a few more background objects/platforms? Also, as the dinoguy said, yeah, that's some clusterfuck on that screen there.
Well, if you say so, then I'll remove the clustered block and make a big one. Also, the desert world will be the 3rd world of the project, the the 2nd world will be snow-themed (a little spoiler there). If I'm done with my schoolwork in the weekend (if I get schoolwork), I'll make process to the project, but it'll be slow like... the entire project so far.
Just when you thought this project's dead, it's not. That's because I've added new screenshots of the turtle-speed progress in the first post (look it up under 1/1/2016 Screenshots) and I announce that Platform Game Engine is officially the level-editing application for the project (though I might do some minor things in the regular editor). And lastly, the soundtrack will now vary in many games, some that are very well known and some that are rarities. So, that's the news. Expect the first demo to come out this Spring.
As I do more progress (it's really slow, I've finished the first level of the 2nd world and nearly finished the second) on this constantly-on-hiatus project, there is a new poll:
Quine (formerly known as krazybluemonkey) has updated his and GeoPyro's Toadette recently and the update made her replace Toad, so the hitbox wouldn't be so uncomfortable for non-LunaLua users (NOTE: This project will not use LunaLua, just in case I didn't declared that). Because of that, I decided to do a new poll that will run for 7 days to decide which character will take Toadette's former spot. I considered putting Rosalina in the mix, but since I'm planning to use every power-up for this project, the one I found in the Community GFX Pack just have the Normal, Super and Fire upgrades. So, it's between Princess Peach and Daisy. The poll will conclude next Monday, and the character with the most votes is declared the "new" character.
