So how was The Force Awakens? (NO SPOILERS)

So Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out on Friday. I went to go see it and it was amazing from start to finish. I can't wait to see where the story will go with Episode 8. Has anyone else seen the movie yet? Any thoughts?
DO NOT POST SPOILERS HERE!

Now for my review:
Spoiler: show
Story: 2/5
The story for me really had a lot to be desired for. To explain it without spoiling it, it's just A New Hope retold from the perspective of the new characters Rey and Finn. I feel they should've saved the climax part for the final movie in this new trilogy, but I'm sure they'll find something to come up with for episode 9.

Acting: 5/5
The actors did a great job of portraying their character. I even liked the return of the old cast like Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and many more.

Music: 5/5
The soundtrack is Star Wars through and through. It's good ol' John Williams at his finest.

Visual Effects: 5/5
Fantastic use of practical effects and proper usage of CGI. It really feels like Star Wars in the 70s-80s (I was born in the 90s so the Star Wars Prequels are what introduced me to the franchise)

Overall: 17/20
I really enjoyed this movie overall and I hope to see what Lucasfilm has in stock for Episode 8 and 9. Long live STAR WARS!

i thought for sure that this movie will be pure horseshit when i first heard it. let us be honest, the phantom menace was an absolute disaster that Lucas probably scribbled script for on toilet paper in bathroom ten mintues before filming began. but then i see this trailer. geez scabies, that new movie might actually be good

Harrison Ford is in his 70's now, he was in his 40's when he did the original trilogy.

Bump.

Movie was fantastic, one of the greatest ones I've ever seen. Appealing to both Star Wars fans such as myself and likely people who are unfamiliar with the franchise for the exciting plot and stunning executing alone.

There was a very successful harmony between the old and the new with the old cast playing a major role along with the new characters. Visuals were amazing too. I loved to see the old aliens from the original trilogy all realistic looking with today's CGI.

I left the theater deeply impressed. Your thoughts???

Yeah, it was a fantastic movie actually. It totally lived up to my hopes for it, which is pretty impressive and surprising. I thought that the characters were interesting, the dialogue was well-written, and the action scenes and CG were really cool. Definitely looking forward to Episode 8.

It was incredible when R2-D2 opened up at the end, and Jar Jar had been in there the whole time!

It was a pretty good movie. I liked the part where the Storm Trooper yells "Hey!", then gets shot down.

I've never been to a movie where everybody clapped for something they'd seen exactly the same way 6 times before.
(but I did too because the Star Wars intro is incredible)
