If we make rps, Should we also make a channel for it?

First off, doing this would probably help people be less angry about the inactivity here.

But anyways would it be a good Idea to make a channel for your rp? I mean, I guess it'd be useful when a lot of people from your rp are online.

Yeah. I know that, but it would be confusing for several different rps to commence play when people are acting out in different rps. (Unless there's only going to be 1 rp in smbx

This is what should be true! I just have no access to IRC! Each RP should use it's own IRC Channel!

The last forum Roleplay I was in, the IRC channel was named after the Roleplay! If that would be true though, I would let Joey say yes or no to that!

But mafia isn't the only forum game, and RP discussion doesn't actually mean rping.
And if it does, multiple RPs happening at the same time would get mixed up.

We haven't had any real forum roleplays yet.

#smbxgames will be used for RP discussion. I don't envision us having more than a few RPs running at the same time, and I don't expect a lot of people to be talking about them all the time either.

So basically #smbxgames will be used for the creation of rps. I see. I guess making a channel for rps would be optional then. We can only do RPs on the IRC for now I guess. :/

For now, sadly, but there are not as fun! The IRC channel for a specific Roleplay is up to the host of the roleplay!

Ok, I get it now. We create our rps in #smbxgames, and then we have an option if we want to make an IRC channel for it. But if you want to keep it on all day and night then...

That's going to eat up a lot of electricity.

Although I'm not much of a role player, but I do agree that we might need to make a new channel along the lines of #SMBXRPC (Super Mario Bros. X Roleplay Chat). Maybe someone will be willing to make it and host it, the others will appreciate it. And relax lighthouse64, they will find an official chatroom or create one.

Kinda, the irc is only vissible while it is registsred (permantment) or when some one copies he entire thing as a log... (Temporary) but the irc channel would still have the right to be reserved forthe role play!

Uhh, that would work for general role plays, but not if there is more ten one going on...
