With a bit of shuffling around in the staff team as many of you have requested, we are looking for additional global moderators to help manage the forum. We have been discussing potential candidates for the open positions, but what we want to know is which of you are actually interested in taking on this job.

Some Job Functions:

• Moderating the forums! (Of course)
• Moving and locking topics
• Warning and banning users
• Contributing to forum discussions

Basic Requirements:

• Visiting the forums frequently
• Speaking politely to users
• Keeping a positive, constructive attitude
• Being able to accept criticism
• Have been around long enough to know generally how the forum is run
• Have a desire to help improve the community, whether through your ideas or modding ability
• Ability/willingness to frequently visit the Chat

As the topic title says, this is an unofficial application. I asked for permission to handle this out of curiosity of who would be interested in modding here. I'm personally in charge of this topic, and all PMs should be sent to me.
This is not a topic for you guys to suggest who you think should become a moderator. I want those people to take it upon themselves to informally apply.

I added "Ability/willingness to frequently visit the Chat" to the requirements list.

Also, I think that we need more European staff, rather than American, in terms of staff activity.

Eh it just looks weird at face value is all. If you think you can help out, by all means send an app in.

That's not what I meant, but I see how you got there.

If being a staff member is the only reason you have to be active, then you shouldn't be a staff member. Does that make more sense?

I can sort of see where he's coming from, since to be quite honest there isn't much to do around here besides post things about SMBX or partake in Mafia. Most discussions are idle banter anyhow.
