I was wondering if anyone can solve my problem.
When I first downloaded SMBX, I used my controller fine. However, when I booted it up on April Fools Day (yesterday), I found that I could not use the controller anymore. It works in other programs just fine, but not in SMBX. It won't even show the option to use the controller anymore. Please help!

I installed all of the drivers to make it run on my computer.

I am not sure how your controller works, but it must use DirectInput.

My controller for example can be switched either to DirectInput and XInput.

I have a REALLY old Xbox 360 or Xbox Controller and it has this DirectInput feature. The controller in looks like it does (and it's expensive.), so I have one question. Do you plug the controller in BEFORE you start SMBX or AFTER? That may be the problem.
