Recording SMBX

Perhaps I'm not struggling with any SMBX actual BUGS, so I'm not sure if this thread fits here BUT it's simple and only requires one reply and then it's solved so according to my assumption moving it to another board sounds useless. Could someone link to me to a downloadable top-quality program that could upload HD SMBX videos? If it cost money, I don't care coz I just got oodles and gobs of Christmas money that I haven't spent too much of yet.

I know FRAPS is a popular recording software, I have no personal experience with it though, but it seems to be quite effective

I've used Bandicam (Free version w/ watermark) in the past with little problems. I don't record in HD however, so I cannot comment on that part of it. Wrath Admanknight uses Bandicam for much of his recording as well if I recall correctly.

If you don't want a watermark, go with HyperCam2.

I also use the CamStudio Lossless Codec (sorry, not sure where the download link is for that) with HyperCam2 and it produces awesome results. I then use Windows Live Movie Maker (note that this is NOT the stock Windows Movie Maker that comes with XP/Vista/whatever) to get 1080p HD.

Example of this software here.

A good paid software is Camtasia Studio. It's a great program and comes with a video editor that lets you export or upload to Youtube in HD.

I'm able to get bandicam to record in HD without much of an issue. I make the recorded space go higher than the actual window, and then I use avidemux to crop out the watermark.
(There's probably an easier way to record SMBX but I couldn't be bothered to try other things, lol)

The thing is, though, with SMBX and its natural resolution, HD doesn't really... matter. It doesn't look any better with HD than with standard definition, mainly because 2x2 sprites are designed well enough for standard definition that it looks fine regardless. Might as well save everyone's bandwidth and not bother with HD.

The reason I want HD is coz bossedit8 records with HD, and I assume he uses the full version of Bandicam.
I think that's what I consider, even though not much people necessarily recommended it here quite unfortunately.

Could you apply me the download link? Thanks.
