I need an npc or even a block that can't be killed and will turn left or right depending on which way the player is facing. Is there anything like this that I can use?

What about using a donut block (with a custom graphic) that doesn't move and has nohurt=0 in the NPC code?

Friendly npc -> don't move

Well what im actually trying to do is have the bowser npc standing on top of this block/npc and having it follow him around

Then use a bully with playerblocktop=1 and npcblocktop=1. Also Bowser should have speed=0.

That's a good idea but I need the NPC to be invincible from player attacks while fighting the bowser

The bully is invicible, just don't put lava pools in the battle room.

Nah I just tried it. hammer suit koopa shells bombs pretty much anything can kill it. I need something that wont be killed by shells or bomb because thats what player will be fighting bowser with.
