...style to use. Man, I ran out of space for a topic title!
So, I wanted to make a game and didn't know what to make the graphics look like. I'd like to have a bit of input on what to use and what to change.
This was one idea:
I kinda like this style, but what do you guys think? I'll probably add other tilesets and sprites and styles and stuff later.
Also, this is a completely new game. Not an SMBX episode.

Nice ! Pixel art is awesome for games. Post when you develop some character sprites.

Graphical styles usually depend on the game's characters and setting, and sometimes even title. What is your game's character, setting, and title going to be?

I'm wanting to make a Minecraft-Mario-Skyrim-Terraria type game with a randomized environment that is probably closest to Mario.
Does that help?

In that case, the tilesets you've posted in the OP are definitely fitting for that idea. They do seem a little like SPM graphics in a way, but you're on the right track for sure.

I agree with Squishy Rex. Although the idea is hard for me to picture in my head, I can see that tileset working that type of game. From what I'm understanding it's a Terraria-eqse game with elements from Mario and free roaming RPGs like Skyrim. Am I right, was I close, or was I far off?

Add the world randomization of minecraft & terraria (but probably more minecraft) and you've got it.
