I don't really watch TV anymore, seeing as the internet is a much better place to watch your favorite shows.
When I did watch TV, I watched:
South Park <--I've seen all the episodes already.
Family Guy <--Meh, I like it whens there's not much else.
Lots of History Channel <--Boring in Class but not on your own time.
King of the Hill was a cool show...propane
Beavis and Butthead was awesome I've seen the Movie lots of times.
-My favorite was with "Santa Butthead"

My god, pre-movie SpongeBob was literally my entire childhood. Shame they managed to butcher it starting with Season 5 (in my opinion).

Offtopic: If we were talking about disappointing tv series, i'd put S.H.I.E.L.D. on the top of the list, i mean, come on, how do you fuck up a spinoff of the marvel movies.

I honestly don't have a favorite, but I do like anime, comedies, and some stuff on Cartoon Network, like Regular Show, but most shows on CN nowadays are not that good, nor as good quality as they used to be. I also like Pawn Stars and American Pickers. My favorite animes would have to be Naruto (Shipudden as well) and DBZ. I know these are really mainstream, but I have grown up watching these two, and I have watched a lot of it.
