Just joined the forum, recently started using SMBX Level Editor.
I recently finished making a full length Mario game using MarioBuilder, so I thought I would try SMBX for my next project. I'm just getting to know the program so it'll most likely be a while before a game is ready.

@ExiledBowser, I didn't know that shadow Mario or Yoshi was even a thing. I'm a newb with the Mario Hacks & Fangames. Just learned it was a thing about 3 months ago. I played most, but not all, the console games (SMB1-3, SMW, Mario64, Kart, Kart 64) as a kid/teen. My handle refers to a Honda Shadow that I ride.

@FriendlyJohnathan &@Psuedo-dino, I reviewed the rules & intend on minding my P's & Q's. I'm only here for Mario related purposes & will not being causing any drama.

See Super Mario Sunshine and later Mario 3-d games ( galaxy/galaxy 2/3-d land) for Shadow Mario and his Variants (youtube helps). I mostly try to make witty puns on new member's names but yeah a Shadow Yoshi doesn't exist in an official Mario game as of yet, sadly.

What is the forum policy on posting a Mario fan game that was made with a different program?
I made a full length game with MarioBuilder & would like to share it. Can I do that in this forum? What would be the appropriate section for that?

You would want to post that in Video Games. At least one other person (bossedit) has posted a Mario Builder project there.
