Okay, so have seen some posts that say they are using a YouTube mp3 converter, or something. Can anyone tell me what it is? I mean I guess it is supposed to change a video into a song... However, if I were to get it, is it virus free? Also is it on the YouTube site? I am only asking, because I think it may help me with trying to get custom music. Anyway, if anyone can help me, that would be great!

A YouTube to MP3 converter basically makes a video into a mp3 file and then you can download the mp3 file that has been converted for free. Those kind of websites doesn't contain viruses what so ever.

No idea if those are really from YouTube themselfes.

http://www.flvto.com/ a very good one supported by google it self so may be slightly ad heavy, but still safe. If you have a pop up/ad blocker use it as it makes it go faster to convert. Just be sure to say "I don't want to help you." when it complains at 50% that you have an ad pop up blocker installed such as ad block plus. You'll still get your mp3 files no matter what.

I don't like youtube-to-mp3 as much... as it puts (not sure if it still does) in a nasty water mark as an album art that makes the file not work in some programs I use (I am looking at you RPGMAKER 2003, etc.) and sometimes SMBX.
