OK, I'm going to bring up this thread from the dead pile because I'm struggling to find music for the icy castle that I'm making (and no, it's got nothing to do with Frozen!). I've tried the Crystal Palace music from PM, but I would rather find some more fitting music than that, provided that it sounds ominous and befits a castle, but it still has the icy element to it. Can someone suggest me a good track for the level?

You could look through the Ice Dungeon themes from Zelda games, Linik.

You say that Crystal Palace's song doesn't fit, but you don't provide us a screenshot or anything so we can better try to find what will fit.

What if I'm making a dark slimy level with lots of water and slime enemies, set inside a pipeline? The decorations are mold and girders/beams- so a slimy factory pipeline, basically. Any thoughts?

Good for factory levels

I need music for a bowsers castle level using the tileset that was also used by unforgiving fortress, penultimate palace, it has multiple gimmicks (of course, the level is fucking huge) but the most prominent is probably the darkness gimmick, turning the screen black every few seconds, but it mostly just follows your typical bowsers castle level.

So far i've using hades from rayman
And bowsers galaxy reactor from smg
But neither were perfect themes
