I was playing Super BombermanR, and while I was playing world 2, I thought to myself: "This might be a good ruins theme for a SMBX level "
Do anyone here agree?
It sounds like climbing a mountain/cliff like those from Super Paper Mario.
What style of "Cavern" theme SMBX custom level would this song* go along with?
*Interesting fact, I remember this VGM from a Gamecube game 1 of my neighborhood friends had growing up. And I spent many years looking for this track on the internet!
The first one sounds like either you are in a warm cafe or the fact that you finally completed the mission through trial and error with people around sacrificing their lives.
The second one is a piece of classical music that was used in the listening exam. A little bit of old-fashioned, but does its job that after someone died, you have to take it up to your chin.
But if you really want to emphasize the part where a character died, search for sad JoJo music.

Well... That's suppose to be a good ending but also sad, I mean, The character complited the mission but paid it's own life for it and that's how it died, but it's a good ending because the character completed the mission (Like the ending of Luigi's Fight For The Mushroom Kingdom)

And the music suppose to be at the end of the episode when the ending of the plot said by words of messages.

Something mystical and soft. Probably an underwater level with light blue colour as the water, a level with shiny crystals, or an ice cave. Add mist to lighten up the atmosphere.
Strongly advise that it isn't a volcano level.
Yes, as in the dungeon is horrifying and full of creatures. But looking at the thumbnail picture of the music, it is more suitable for a level of phantasm, something that is like a nebulous nightmare or ascends to heaven. Not like something in the depth of hell with lava boiling.
No, depends how "hellish" the dungeon is. If it is a run-and-gun, linear level, using "Running Hell" from Cave Story since all there is exciting.
If you want to emphasise just the "hell" part with the lava and hotness stuff, use a piece of more chilled, calm, deserted, yet elegant music like "Lullaby of Deserted Hell" from Touhou 11. I might say that most Touhou 11 songs are better if you want to keep the atmosphere in the depths of hell, instead of being hellish as in horrifying.
I know Touhou music is kind of a...cult thing to use in levels, but some of the music from the newer games are pretty good. Here are some examples:
September Pumpkin (from Touhou 15: Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom)
This has a really ethereal vibe to it, which I feel like would work best for a nighttime level.
Swim in a Sakura-Colored Sea (from Touhou 16: Hidden Star in Four Seasons)
This one would probably fit best in some kind of nighttime-themed level, or perhaps, as the name might suggest, a forest of cherry trees. Or both, of course.
Unlocated Hell (from Touhou 17: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature)
You can probably guess by the title alone which kind of level this would fit. Some kind of chaotic and foreboding hell-themed level.
Beast Metropolis (from Touhou 17: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature)
Again, pretty obvious what you would use this for. Although I'm thinking of a more technologically advanced/futuristic city.
This one is not from a Touhou game, but rather from a CD.
Dateless Bar "Old Adam" (from "Old Adam" Bar)
I, admittedly, really like this theme. However, I can't think of where this might fit in. It feels like it might be a bit more..."experimental" for use, but I think that it would be a great choice if used. There are a handful of level creators that often use music that you wouldn't really expect, but make the level all the more interesting and unique.
I know this is just a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis remix* of 1 of the 2 8-bit "The Legend of Zelda" games, but would this remix fit with a haunted house theme level or a dark castle/palace level:*Made by Yuzoboy of YouTube
Need a theme for this forest level. Looking for something with a sense of darkness to it, contrary to like Maple Treeway or something like that. Thanks in advance
