Well, this is my second SMBX project, and this is turning out to be really good so far. Like my, "The Neverending Story" project, I;ve only made 2 levels so far: The intro and Level 1-1. However, I think you all will like this new project. If you get bored playing The Neverending Story, come play my new project, Super Mario Bros. X: Fantasy Zone! As I've said in my other forum, I need 3 types of people: Level Testers, Graphic Artists, and Level Designers. So, if you want 1 of these, "jobs", then show me some of your work for art or show me a video of how good you are at playing SMBX levels. Thanks!

Well, it's called "Fantasy Zone" for a reason, anything can happen. Should I change it to water?

Also that level is bad and flat. There's even a clash with objects (smw + smb1, smb2, smb3 style).

It's SUPPOSED to have a clash of objects. That's why it's called "Fantasy Zone"

But it looks bad. People don't like things that look bad.

Only thing overall is that most of the whole screenshots you posted seemed flat. If anything can happen, why not spice things up where it can have some interest?

OK, I'll try to change it. But thanks for the positive post on my other forum!
EDIT: I added screenshots of version 1.1, I hope you like them!

Way, way WAY too many bullet bills in the 8th screenshot. Also, having a project called The Fantasy Zone isn't an excuse to have levels that have random npcs put all over the place. Sorry if that sounded rude, but it's just my 2 cents.

Vanilla SMBX contest in a nutshell.
Seriously if you want a good example of putting two styles together look at Luigi's fight for the kingdom, because this right here is a bad example.

One or more of the 1.1 pictures that you posted seems to look like a spammed amount of NPCs, preferably the bullet bill part.

Hm...
The Thwomp doesn't fit, the Piranha shouldn't do that, no spamming ain't fun either. It may be called fantasy but it doesn't mean you gotta do it like this.

Touhou all over again!
For a Fantasy World, this Looks decently nice. So far, I can't really say of what to respect to happen but even then with all those elements that is in those screenshots, I do look Forward to Play it and see everything of what you have in store.
