Graphical Help

Hey everyone. As you might I'm the guy behind SM: Heroes on the Star Quest. So I was making this level where everything Is black. NPCs, tileset, BGOs and the playable character. But I discovered something really weird. I recolored the Kuribo's Shoe into black, but whenever I use it during the gameplay it's not black anymore. Could anyone help me?
Note: The reason I'm not posting any screenshot it's because I'm using my phone. I'll post it tommorow.

I think shoes are hard-codec graphics

Kuribo Shoes are actually hardcoded graphics. Same with Clown Cars.

i.e you cannot change kuribo's shoe graphics.
(actually you can, via smbx.exe hacking but that doesn't work for episodes)

You can't change the Kuribo's Shoe for a single level. You can, however, make up an excuse saying it's a special shiny shoe.
