Sorry man. I have lost pets before, and the worst was I when my family offered to foster a rabbit and her day-old babies. Three didn't survive after birth and the rest of them died because they move just after she had her babies. It was the saddest thing ever, and to make matters worse one of them died right in my hands.....
So I feel your pain, doomoocv. I'm here for you man.

Ohh... I know what it feels like by losing their Animals like that by having them painfully dead.
I for once have a Cat in July/August 2013 that just suddenly appeared in our Garden for no reason... we are surprised by that. After that we take care of him. How the Cat Looks, it was completly White with orange spots (if you can call it that) on him. The whole activity for him was very great during his life and ours aswell even with some issues at the very beginning due to his Actions. Later on however after like near a Year like on July 2014, he has his life expanded to go outside even further and not only inside the Garden or any near on our House but during that while he walks freely around our Village, he was on a Street and a Car suddenly come in and made a huge injury on the Cat, being unable to be back on life... which means, he is dead just by a Car-Accident. Horrible!

I feel you. My cat, Tony, died this summer. I know how that feels when you lose a pet.

I can sympathize. My cat that I grew up with, died in 2011. He was sitting next to me when he was put down. I cried silently through standardized testing.

I really, really HATE it when you need to put a pet down. When I was little,my dog,or well,my DADS dog had to be put down. Now,I was really small,so I wasn't allowed in there, and neither was my brother. My mom was takeing care of us in the waiting room,my dad was the only one in there, with the poor dog.
*Sigh*

I never had a pet, so what does "put down" mean?
I think it means "Killed", but yeah.

Euthanized, they put a needle in the dog that contains a poisonous substance that kills it.
It's a very peaceful death and causes no pain for the dog. It's still painful for the owners, though.

My boxer, Sinbad had to be put down because he was having seizures like crazy.....and he was only 7 years old.

But in all seriousness, it was kind of sad for me when my pet goldfish died. I forgot his name, though.

You bumped a rather tragic topic for that?
EDIT: Since the other post has been edited, I'm crossing this out.

That's really sad.
One time my sister had a goldfish as a pet but it died because it got feed too much food

. And then when got and different pet fish that was blue and looked very pretty but when mom was changing its water it accidentally jumped into the garbage disposal and we couldn't get it out and it died too.

And then my sister got a third fish too but I don't remember what happen to it.
So i feel your pain.
