Super Mario Bros. X Forums

If you have read my Introduction topic, you will note that I have not visited this site since around 2009ish. It looks the same as before, yet when I look at the members list Redigit is not listed but instead there is Joey? Is Redigit's real name Joey or is there a new owner? I'm conpuzzled!!

This is a new site meant to mimic the look of the original site Redigit owned. The original site closed LONG ago.

Right...er, so there was nothing between then and 2013?

Between 2010 and 2014 there were:
Trekweb (2010)
Knux's forum (2011 - 2013)
NSMBX forums (2011 - Early 2013)
SMBX revived (2013)

I might be wrong in some date.

Redigit got sued by Nintendo so he stopped development of SMBX after 1.3.
Just be glad the new owner isn't Kyasarin....*shudder*

Hi, welcome to the forums! No, I'm not Redigit.

This site opened in December 2013 and aims to mimic the design of the original SuperMarioBrothers.org, without all the Mario flash games/backgrounds/shallow stuff that attracts kids. The new site is strictly about SMBX, instead of Mario in general.

From 2011 to 2013 there were various unofficial SMBX forums, including The Super Mario Brothers X Forums, Knux's Forum, the NSMBX forums, SMBX United, and SMBX Revived.

EDIT: The name Kyasarin sounds familiar. Did (s)he lead after Redigit?

No, he never did. He was an admin in the original forum, though.

Kyasarin was a cool guy tho. He only disliked the little kids and Knux.

Re-logic (Redigit back in 2010-2011) is now the proud owner of his new official Terraria forum, with anew user name by the name of Loki and a new staff as well.
Although he doesn't want traces of SMBX on his forum it still get noticed somewhere in his forum.

Re-Logic is the name of Redigit's game design company, formed in 2011. It's a combination of "Redigit" (his username) and "demilogic" (his YouTube username).

Implying SMBX itself won't attract kids. That's a pretty naive thing to say.

Actually as it has been said before, every single SMBX forums that wasn't the original is of course unofficial.
