WIP. It's the first level from something I'm making. I think I'm gonna change the switch to a underground section.
Something unique I've never seen, good work.

Actually I remember a level that mixed cave and castle tileset togheter. It was the level that got 9th place in CC8.
Also I think the background doesn't fit, since it doesn't look a sky level at all, otherwise looks pretty good.

Well, the castle is in a mountain above the clouds. Anyway, I'm gonna try to find a better BG.

Then you should add some cloud BGO (or blocks) and maybe have more pits.

Maybe add some mountains behind the clouds then? I feel like that'd make it feel more like the castle's in the mountains.

I'll drop by to remind you about the Mario Maker SMW donut blocks because I think you forgot about those. :P

Actually, I was going to make some SMW styled NSMB donut blocks. But if I don't get a good result, I guess I can use the Mario Maker ones.

No much to say, but in my opinion, you should use only one type of pillar. Maybe mixing the SMB3 pillar with the torch from the SMW one (IDK if it's going to work)... well, do what you think it's better.
I guess I could splice something together. Either that or just take out the pillar part and just make it a torch. I feel like it'd probably work much better, that way.
Sirius wrote:Also, these bricks around the podoboo are BGOs? If yes, they don't look really like BGOs.
I darkened the bricks by 50% and reduced contrast by 40% already, and it resulted in what you see in the picture. How would you adjust the settings to make it so that they look like BGOs?

I did a test reducing only the brightness.

Maybe the problem is with the contrast, that makes it look brighter. I don't really know...

How smart by replicating Zelda 2's first temple's Boss into SMBX and even a health bar for the Boss too. I really want to Play this... very nice work on the screenshot so far.

I must admit, that is pretty good, well done litchh. It's good to see someone implementing Boss Health Bars with or without LunaLUA. It's good to see more Link-based levels too considering they are generally few and far between.

Very nice water-type cave Level and I really like it so far. The only Thing what I don't like are those Bonus blocks (? Blocks and Turn Blocks) that are placed on a narrowish way under These cave blocks tiles that you can see on the far right side of the screenshot inside the water. The rest it Looks neat so good work so far.

There's too many fishbone in the water half for how little space there is. Try cutting the amount in half. Other than that it looks fantastic!

Why is there a floating mushroom?
Also is that the intro of a remake of SMA (since this game is on the gameboy advance)?
