I like the light world vs. dark world thing going on here. It feels very Super Meat Boy.

Is it a day-night level? Liking the design and concept, anyway.

Mock-Up Level Loading Screen
Feedback would be extremely helpful. Also for more information on Dream Gardens, follow the link in my signature. The mock-up loading screen may make more sense then.

Simply put, it won't be a Mario game*, the Mario one in SMBX is rather bland, especially for what I'll be doing in the eventual and also because I can.
*This is my PGE project that will be part of the un-affiliation with Nintendo by using custom non-copyright graphics etc.

You should increase contrast on the rocks and might want to make a version of the tree using the grass palette.
The rock as it is now is way too bright for the area and clashes with its black outline and colour. Especially the black parts in the center of the graphic.
Re: The Super, Snazzy, & Sick Sixth Screenshot Thread
I suggest you change the pipe a bit. Looks too cartoony for me and it clashed with the well-shaded other tiles.
No, I would say it is just too bright, if it used a more pale green it would work well. Most of the SML2 stuff used a more washed out palette like the grass and rocks, so I would recommend that if anything.
