Some SMBXC Game Jam Thing

Welcome to this interesting idea I've had for a while following the three SMBX Skype Group Meet-ups. Right now, this isn't a "who wants to participate?" thread, it's more like a "do you like this idea?" thread.
This thing will go one of two ways. The first way it will go is be an event that will be hosted where we just all sit in Skype and chat and play games together, something to acquaint ourselves with each other and all that stuff. Generally so we aren't just text on a screen. The second way this will go is that I will have some people step forward (idk how many people right now) and we will have a dedicated livestream/game jam to a certain game, this could be any game like Mario Kart 64 all the way to Smash 4 or a Garry's Mod gamemode, or, hey, maybe the Minecraft Hunger Games on the official server once that's back up and running? Who knows.
Basically over the course of the Summer/Spring, I'd like to get together with a bunch of you guys and chat over Skype. Keep in mind that chatting with a mic is preferred but not necessary, it just seems like a good idea to have everyone talking with mics so it's easier to communicate while we GAME JAM.
I'm not sure at this point how many of these events I want to host, I just want to know that I want to plan ahead for these events. I feel that we as a community need to come together and be not just text on a screen but something a little more. We need to be a lot more social in a friendly environment, and the greatest way to be doing that is through Skype (I would list the millions of reasons why text chat isn't a friendly environment but I'll save that for another time).
So, my ultimate question right now is would anyone want to participate in one of these game jams? If you dedicate yourself to it and I happen to do a livestream of some certain game then you'd have to be there for the entire thing, or at least for most of the entire thing, though if you just want to hang out in the voice chat and talk and maybe play games, go ahead. Once the Minecraft server is back up this can be a good way for everyone to communicate with each other if need be, but I'd like it to be a little something more than just for that purpose.
Tell me what you think about this, vote in the poll if you would participate or not and maybe post why exactly. I'd like to maybe see this happen come Summertime.
