Story
Shinland was a kingdom that consisted of several islands. It is known for it's size, population, but most of all, the Galactic Shrine, a powerful artifact that, if in the wrong hands, could cause the owner's world domination. For centuries, it has been secured deep in the Shinland Castle, protected by strong magic and difficult obstacles. But this seal has been broken. Bowser has broken into the castle and stolen the Shrine. He has retreated to the center of Shinland, a large, rocky volcano. The magic of the shrine has put a barrier around the island, requiring the power of many stars to break it. Knowing Mario and Luigi's history with Bowser, the queen of Shinland recruited the two brothers to travel around the kingdom, gather enough stars, and enter Bowser's domain. On the way, they will have to deal with some of his top minions - Bowser has planted castles down on the 7 main islands. But Bowser may not be the ultimate villain...
Gameplay
You, playing as either Mario or Luigi, must travel across Shinland and gather enough stars. (The amount of stars has not been determined) Then, you will travel to Bowser's domain (the center of Shinland) and defeat him. By finding secret exits in levels, you will find shortcuts to other islands. You may also find Star Gates, which will transport you to another island. Every level will have two exits, with the exception of some levels in the first island as well as some secret levels. There is no required route, as long as you get (TBD) stars and then travel to the central island. Each normal level will have 3 stars, one for beating the level, one for collecting all the Dragon Coins, and one for finding the secret exit. Obviously, the few levels with one exit will only have two stars.
Islands
Shillius Island
This is the starting island. It has a grassland theme. Shinland Castle rests here. It contains 5 levels, a fortress, a castle, and a Toad House. This is the only main island where some levels only have one exit.
Templus Island
This island has a desert theme. It has (TBD) levels, a pyramid (basically a fortress), a castle, and an airship level.
Castlia Shores
This island contains many beach levels. It has (TBD) levels, two Toad Houses, and an airship level.
The Glacier
This glacier is, well, a glacier. It has (TBD) levels, a Yoshi House, and a castle.
Vinewind Island
???
Cliffshroom Mountains
???
Olymsut Island
???
The Core
The center of Shinland, where Bowser is hiding as he plots to take over the world. Once Mario/Luigi obtains (TBD) stars, he will have to enter this island and take down Bowser. It will have 1 level, and the final boss level.
Secret Islands
There are several secret islands across Shinland that can be reached through secret exits in levels. They often contain 1-2 levels, and are shortcuts to other islands.

You put a good amount of coins and enemies in the first screen, and the world map has a good amount and variety of scenery. The levels are also spaced out well. All you could change is either the colour of the clouds and sky in the first screen to the colour of the other clouds, or change the colour of the cloud blocks and BGOs to the colour of the clouds in the background.
EDIT: Also, if you don't space out paths at least one space away from each other, you can travel to that path and skip Level 5.

Thank you for the feedback, but I was already going to recolor that background. It's pretty much the first thing I need the GFX designers to do. Might just post it in Requests.

These screens looks good, but I think the world map looks too square.
Well, I have no much to say right now, so I can only wish you good luck to complete it.

Id gladly help out as a beta tester and GFX designer, although my spriting isn't the best.
The screen looks really cool, but I think having sunset clouds in the background would do better.

Okay. Your in as a beta tester, and I've seen your works before so I guess I can put you in as a GFX designer as well.

That'll be good. Just note that you won't have to do anything for a while.

Sure.
I'd just like to point out that since LordYoshi999 left the forums, there is still a spot open for Beta Tester.

What could this be?
(Im working on recoloring the Rinka Generators (already have a custom graphic for the Rinkas themselves) and possibly making them square. Nothing you see is final.)
And on the brigher side, we have a new screenshot from up in the skies. If you like cotton candy, you'll like this one.

I could do the rinka sprites if ya wanna. Also, in the next update for my pack, I was planning on giving different colours to each different firefly, so the player knows wether he can spinjump on it or not.

Okay, if you could make the inside match the tileset, please? And making it square would help a lot.

Sorry, I already have my three.
On the other side, I have decided to redo the world map. Thoughts?
