Design(4/5) – SMB2 linear level with good gimmicks, simple, but with a good gameplay and with the potion gimmick, unused with grand part of level designers. In the checkpoint section, anyway, the Hoopster part can be impossible to pass, with the player pick vegetable and throw it, killing accidentally these enemies. The key parts are a little boring and annoying, too, because you have to pick a grand amount of “Mask Blocks” to reach the key. The Goomba slope part are a little hard too.
Atmosphere(4/5) – Good atmosphere, but some parts can be more explained, like the key part. “Where you have to put him?” can be a question of a player, for example. Try to put a notice or something like this in the place that you need to use the key.
Graphics(4/5) – Some effects, in the Poison section, are really prejudiced. Beyond that, anyone more to complain about. Really good SMB2 styled graphics.
NPCs(4/5) - Good amount of enemies, coins, vegetables, and other NPCs. Like I have said, the Hoopster part have to be revisited.
Overall – (16/20) or (8/10)
A good and simple SMB2, with some gimmicks and a linear design. Some parts can be impossible to pass, and some are really hard. But it’s a decent linear level, with some fun.
