Is it possible to replace these fields with something useful

Nobody actually knows what jabber is and AOL is for 50 year old people, could they maybe be replaced with something that people actually use, like twitter/youtube or even facebook?

IIRC this can't be done directly in vanilla phpbb, but there may be mods for it. Also, people already use the "Website" field for stuff like that if they want to share their social media accounts.

People mostly use Facebook and Youtube to do stuff now, I think they should be changed if able to.

Facebook? Funny bc all of my friends left it, because theres only stupid shit going on now on facebook and it kinda died out for interesting stuff.

Nah, this is totally possible. It's just a quick edit to the HTML files in phpbb, and some php files as well if I'm not mistaken.

I want to wait to make any changes involving the phpBB code itself until after I update to the latest version. The latest version contains the following profile fields:
Website
Facebook
Twitter
Skype
YouTube
Google+
