Hey guys, NintendoOtaku93 here, asking you guys of the SMBX community, what do you normally do on every Christmas eve and/or Christmas day. My current Christmas tradition is to watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie, "A Christmas Story" on TV. I may know that I'll bet some of y'all's Christma\s tradition is way more X-masy than my tradition, but I just wanna know what you guys do every year on Christmas. See ya

My mom's side of the family comes over here on Christmas eve, and we go over to my grandparent's house on Christmas day to be with dad's side.

We all live in the same region so we first go spend part of Christmas at my grandparent's house and then over to my uncle's house. We have a great feast of food - ham, turkey, tamales, pumpkin & cheesecake pies and more. We also listen to a lot of Christmas music and music that everyone loves. It gets pretty cold here during Christmas aside from there being no snow it feels like Christmas should be. Then when it's Christmas morning everyone opens their Christmas presents. I always do enjoy it.
From my part, I want to wish you all a safe and fun Christmas holiday. Merry Christmas!

We don't have Christmas yet, as the country where I live (Ukraine) celebrates it at 7th of January.
Usually I with my family watch some christmas-related movies and stuff at that day.

Big Christmas dinners with the whole family.
My parents are divorced, so I go to three different dinners.

Being a hermit crab, and thinking Christmas is over after you open presents.

You do know that Christmas isn't all about the presents, it's about being with your family and those you love or care about. So to me, Christmas isn't over until that clock hits 12:00 and it's December 26th.

Since the passings of my granddad and great-grandmother earlier this year we've decided upon new traditions since the family will be harder to get together since my great-grandmother was usually the hostess.
Most of the time We have a small family dinner on Christmas Eve and open Christmas pajamas, that tradition has been in the family for a long time now. Then on Christmas Day I'd wake up to the smell of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven and the sound of A Christmas Story on the television, we'd open our gifts in our stockings and then proceed to eat cinnamon rolls. My grandmother would come over with gifts and we'd all open our presents sometime around noon. Then we'd have a good few hours to sit and vegetate, and then we would leave for my great-grandmother's house for dinner sometime later. We'd open more presents there, and then I'd go home and just crash.
Christmas is, for some reason, a special holiday to me, and I'm not sure why.

Next year (2016, since this one is pretty over) I'll be getting drunk or the first time. I'll wait til Christmas for it, and that'll be my Christmas experience. The gift of intoxication.

Alcoholism. The gift that keeps on *hic* giving.
As for my traditions? Well, we always have the same Christmas dinner (this year, we had it both on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, my mom made the same meal twice) which is duck stuffed with prunes and apples, gravy and sugared potatoes. Then we open gifts on Christmas Eve (my mom is Danish, they're weird peoples, y'know?) and eat rice porridge (not technically porridge but whatevs) and spend the entire night complaining about stomach aches from all the food we eat.

Bump time!!! just because Christmas is around the corner this year! ^^
My Christmas Tradition
was to watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie,
The Christmas Story, on TV on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
*.... But last year, me & my family's Christmas dinner was ruined.
(It's best y'all don't know how, it's kinda sad!
) So my family decided to have Christmas dinner at a Chinese Fusion restaurant instead.
After dinner, my father announced that eating at Chinese restaurant on
Christmas Day will be my family's new Christmas tradition from now on! Woot!!!!
*Please note, me watching the 24 hour marathon
IS still my current Christmas tradition tbh!
