TIME FOR THE SEQUEL TO A LONELY VOYAGE.

M13: Spacebase 115
That's One-Fifteen, not One-Hundred-Fifteen, mister!

20 Players (4 Mafia, 5 Utility, 11 Town)
Cardflip
Mystery Game
If the amount of living Innocent members equals the amount of living Traitor members, the Traitors win.
All lynch vote targets must be designated in red, and if they are not, they will not count towards the lynching of that target.

After hearing of the unfortunate fate of the Celtan Gardè, the patrons of Spacebase 115, a fairly large commercial Space Station in orbit around the planet Eve, has decided to put the station on lock down, preventing newcomers from entering the ship in fear of any pirate menace. The patrons of Spacebase 115 were unaware that it wasn't pirates that cause the fate of the Celtan Gardè, but traitors... After one of the Space Station's caretakers went mysteriously missing, it was assumed there there were traitors on the vessel, so everyone prepared for the worse, readied themselves with weapons, and attempted to seek out the traitors... Will they prevail? Or will the traitors succeed in their mission?
Only sleepless nights and restless days will tell...

The Mystery Game mechanic works somewhat like M10A's Mystery Game mechanic, only a little bit differently. When sign-ups are finished, you are randomly PM'd with one of three colors (Traitors, Utility, or Passengers), along with your choice of a role you wish to be (Passengers do not get the choice of choosing a role). If you are a Traitor, your other teammates are not revealed until everyone on your team has claimed their role, this is to prevent planning. The twist this adds to the game is that nobody will know other peoples' roles (with the exception of the Traitors knowing each others' roles), which will increase suspense. When everyone has chosen their roles, the Traitors will be PM'd their teammates and the game will begin. The list of roles are below.

-Traitors-
Spoiler: show
Traitor Leader: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. He is immune to being night killed.
OR
Co-Pilot: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Cardflips green.
Hacker: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can choose a player during the night, they may not use their power during the day.
OR
Spy: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can inspect a player each night. Cardflips black when inspected.
Cloaker: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can change their color once throughout the entire game.
OR
Manipulator: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can choose a player during the night, that player is cloaked red until the next night.
Thug: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can choose a player during the night, that player is silenced during the day.
OR
Smuggler: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Lynch vote counts for two (except when second lynching is held).
-Innocents-
Spoiler: show
Captain: Can reveal the role of a player during the night. That player's role will be revealed to the Captain only.
OR
Lieutenant: Can choose during the night to host a second lynching during the day where a second player gets lynched alongside the first.
Doctor: Can choose a player each day, that player is immune to being night killed until the next day.
OR
Scientist: Can bring a dead player back to life once throughout the entire game.
Inspector: Can inspect a player each night. That player's color will be revealed to the Inspector only.
OR
Politician: Lynch vote counts as two (except when second lynching is held).
Bounty Hunter: Can choose to kill any player at night. If he kills an innocent, he loses his ability for one night.
OR
Bodyguard: Can choose a player each day, if that player would be killed that night, the Bodyguard dies instead. If he is targeted by the Doctor, the Doctor's ability has no effect.
Agent: Can choose to kill any player at night. If he kills an innocent, he is automatically lynched off the next day. Cardflips black when inspected.
OR
V.I.P.: Just like a normal Passenger, only they're immune to being night killed.
Passenger (x10): A normal player with no special abilities. They vote each day to get someone lynched.
Suspicious Passenger: Just like a normal Passenger, only cardflips red and doesn't know they are the Suspicious Passenger.
The Traitors win if the amount of living Innocent members equals the amount of living Traitor members.
The Innocents win if they kill off all of the Traitors.
If the Lieutenant wishes to hold a second lynching, they must PM the host during the night with that request, and when the day starts an announcement will be made that a second lynching is being held, allowing players to vote for two targets to be lynched instead of one.
The Smuggler and Politician's lynch votes do not count as two during a second lynching.
If a player is inactive, they will be turned into a Phantom. If a player returns from inactivity after becoming a Phantom, they will be given back their role. However, if a player does not return from inactivity after a day/night cycle completes, a substitute will be found for their role and they will be kicked out of the game. A Phantom player may not be targeted by abilities, lynch votes, or night kills.
Pseudo-dino wrote:Looks pretty well-balanced to me. Approved.
FallingSnow wrote:Looks good, but I'm worried if you'll be able to get 20 players. I wanted to set the max players down a little but didn't think about it early enough.

Trouble in the Mushroom Kingdom
16 players, 3 mafia, 3 special, 10 town

This is a mario-related Mafia game. Fitting isnt it? This will just be a basic mafia game with a few twists. No deaths, but yet members of the mushroom kingdom will be kidnapped or KO'd instead

Team Koopa
Bowser - Ultimate king of evil, as Bowser you plot with your minions to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Cannot be KO'd at night. Cardflips Red upon KO or Tattle.
Bowser Jr. - Bowser's son, and next in command among evil plans. As Bowser Jr. you plot with the others on who to kidnap. If Bowserhas been KO'd, Bowser Jr. gaining night immunity. Cardflips Red on KO or Tattle.
Kamek - Master mage of the koopa's, can transform a Toad into a brick causing KO. Cardflips Blue upon KO or Tattle.

Mushroom Kingdom
Dr.Mario - The famous Italian plumber, can choose to save a player from KO, only self protection once. Cardflips Blue on KO or Tattle.
Toadsworth - The informative old toad, can choose to read a page from the tattle log on a player. Cardflips Blue on KO.
Luigi - Brother to Mario, Luigi can jump on a player to KO any player at night. If Luigi's attack hits a Toad or his brother/Toadsworth, Luigi loses ability for a night. Cardflips Blue on KO or Tattle.
Toad - Regular Toad, can participate in "lynching". Cardflips Green on KO or Tattle.
Toad

Toad

Notes:
-Bowser's kidnap and Kamek's ko are seperatte from each other, however both can plot together
-If Bowser is KO'd before Bowser Jr. said ability given is "Night KO Resistance".
-Mushroom Kingdom wins when all the baddies are KO'd.
-Koopa's win if Mushroom Kingdom = population of Koopa's left.
Pseudo-dino wrote: This game has some serious balance issues. Since Bowser is unlychable and Jr. can become unlynchable, the game becomes unwinnable for the town if only Bowser/Jr. is left in the mafia. I would give Bowser/Jr. night immunity or something else instead of lynch immunity.
Other than this it looks good though, I'll approve it if you fix this.
Pseudo-dino 2 wrote:OK, approved.
FallingSnow wrote:Not sure why you don't just use mafia terms instead of this "KO" thing.
I don't really understand how Kamek's ability even works the way things are worded right now. Is it temporary? Is it a kill?
What ability is Bowser Jr. taking over from Bowser?
I mean I'm just generally confused.

Looks balanced.

M13: Old School
A Mafia game with most of the normal Mafia roles we've seen so far, but it uses ballot box lynching, to shake things up a bit.

Gameplay:
20 players
Ballot-Box
Cardflip

The Mafia
Godfather
Vengeful Mafioso
Mafioso
Mafioso
Their numbers must equal that of the town, and the serial killer must be dead, in order to win.

The Town
Sheriff
Deputy
Doctor (1 self heal only)
Nurse (takes on the role and color of the doctor if the doctor dies)
Vigilante
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Miller
Millright
Student (no special abilities)
Mafia and serial killer must be dead to win.

The Third Party
Serial Killer
Must kill everyone else to win.

Other Notes:
Blah blah blah phantoms blah blah blah backups blah blah
All roles work the way you think they do.
Pseudo-dino wrote:Looks good to me.
FallingSnow wrote:Since the Nurse hasn't been used much, I don't think it's well known and should have a short description. Probably good otherwise.

Hectic Hyrule: Heroes VS Villains

-16 players.
-Cardflip.
-Role use is optional, Villain killing is optional, lynches on each day are mandatory.
-Villains wins if the Villain member count is the same as the amount of alive players in the Heroes.
-Heroes win if all of the Villains and the Third Party are dead.
-The Third Party wins he is the last one standing.
-If you are inactive for 2 days and nights, you will be replaced with a substitute. You must post AT LEAST once per day/night to stay in the game.
-The Villains know each other.
-Lynch votes must be in red, otherwise it will not be counted. Bolding is recommended, but isn't required.
-Roles can only be used at night.

Villains
Ganondorf: The Leader of the Villains and the supreme lord of darkness. He cardflips green unless inspected, in which he'll cardflip red. Immune to night kills.
Vaati: Vaati is an evil wizard who betrayed his mentor in order to gain more power. He is able to turn a player to stone each night, silencing the player during the day. Discusses with the other Villains on who to kill.
Zant: The King of the Twilight Realm. He usurped the throne of Midna along with the Twili. He has the ability to paint a player's color red once. Discusses with the other Villains on who to kill.

Heroes:
Link: The Leader of the Heroes, and the Hero of Time. He has the ability to inspect users of their color by PMing a player to the Game Host.
Zelda: The Princess of Hyrule. She has the ability to protect a player from harm each night.
Midna: The Princess of the Twilight Realm. She has the ability to send a player to the Twilight Realm, disallowing them from ever returning to the regular world (killing basically). If she kills a Hero, then she won't be able to use her ability for a night.
Navi: Link's fairy. She is separated from Link, however, but she is still trying her hardest to play a big role as a Hero. Each night, she has the ability to fly over to a player telling them about a player who hasn't used his or her power yet.
Regular Hero x8: No special ability. Votes with the other players on who to lynch each day.

Third Party:
Skull Kid: Has the ability to kill one player each night. Wins if he is the last one standing.
Pseudo-dino wrote: Looks good to me. Approved.

Spectral realm

20 players
cardflip
role usage/night killing optional

The demons
Shadow burglar - Can select a player each night up to 3 times to swap colors (For example, if the burglar swaps with a wraith, the wraith shall now have the burglar's original color, and if the next night, the burglar swaps with a special wraith, the special wraith shall have the burglar's previous color)
Spirit hunter - Every night, the hunter is given a contract to kill a certain role, then, the hunter has to select a player of their choice, if that player's role matches with the contract's, the player will die. If the hunter selects the wrong player, he can't use his ability for the next night.
Stalker - May follow a specific player each night, if that player uses their role ability, the stalker will inform the mafia, if they didn't, the stalker can't stalk the next night. (This means that if he stalks a townie, it'll count as if the target didn't use their ability).
Reaper - Can select a player each night, if that player has been voted to lynch by 5 other different players (that aren't demons) throughout the game, the reaper may kill them.

The wraiths
Schrödrinwraith - Can put a player in a cursed box each night, The same night, the player's abilities will not have any effect; If the selected player is to be killed while he's in the box, the player will dodge the kill and it will be announced that the player was going to be killed at the end of the night (his color won't be shown). But if no other ability was used on the player AND there wasn't any attempt on their life, the player will die unless it's a demon/third party, in which case they won't die.
Inspectre - Can learn a player's color each night.
Sky invoker - Can choose to skip the next phase up to 2 times throughout the game.
Vengeful phantom - Every time someone dies, the phantom assumes their role during the next night phase (not permanently), if the phantom chooses to use their ability, she will be unable to speak for the next day phase and will not be able to use the ability she gets the next night. Her cardflip color will be affected for the current night and next day. Assuming the role of the equivalent of a townie doubles the phantom's lynch vote for 1 day.
Millfiend - Normal townie, but cardflips red.
Millwraith - Normal townie, but cardfilps that cool grey-ish blue color.
Wraith - Basically serves the role of a townie
Wraith
Wraith
Spectre - Basically serves the role of a townie
Spectre
Spectre
Phantom - Basically serves the role of a townie
Phantom
Phantom

Typical broken third party
Soul Gambler - Can choose a player each night to predict their death, wether if their death takes place at the current night phase or the following day phase. If his prediction is correct, he gains that player's ability permanently (If it's a townie, it will make his lynch vote count for +1 up to 3). If his prediction is wrong, his own soul will be damaged, if it gets damaged too hard (aka making 3 wrong predictions), the gambler will die, but his death won't be announced to the public.
Pseudo-dino wrote: All parties are crazy powerful as is typical for your games but that's a legitimate kind of balance I guess.
I don't really understand why there are three different types of townie, especially since they don't share their cardflips with any other player. You can keep it like this if you want but it seems needlessly complex to me.
As for balance this game's alright though. Approved.
FallingSnow wrote:Some of the demons are super strong. Idk
Schrodinwraith is what
What does Sky Invoker skipping a phase mean?
Vengeful Phantom is what
Having a role known as a "phantom" might get confused with the whole phantom systems and people getting kicked out of a game
Your color choice is lame !!
"wether"

Skeleton: Each night, he can commence the spooky dance on a random player, freaking them out, preventing them from using their role ability that night.
Skull Artist: Every night, he can "megically" cause a skull to appear in a chosen player's house, scaring him so much that his lynch vote does not count the next day.

Winning conditions: Have the amount of The Townies be the same as The Skeletons.

Classy Man: Can commence a second lynching during the day.
Witch Doctor: Can save a player each night from being KO'd.
Necrophobic: Has a huge fear of spooky-ness. Has no special abilities.

"Brave" One: Has no special abilities. Knows he is the "Brave" One.
Necromancer: Has no special abilities. Does not know he is the Necromancer.
Winning conditions: Kill all of The Skeletons.
Pseudo-dino wrote: Looks good overall.
I would change the dark blue cardflip to something more distinct from the regular blue color, though.

Pseudo-dino wrote: You need to specify what the Sneaky Protester's power actually does; the description here doesn't really make that clear.
Either way, chance-based abilities aren't awesome, but that's alright I guess if you think it'll work.

The Wrath Of The Four Horsemen

The forces of hell
Death: one of the leaders of the forces of hell, votes each night with the forces of hell to kill one person, he also gets to decide to kill one person on his own once per 2 nights
War:one of the leaders of the forces of hell, votes each night with the forces of hell to kill one person, he also gets to make a dispute at night once per game so the forces of heaven and earth cant lynch for one day
Pestilence:one of the leaders of the forces of hell, votes to kill one person each night with the forces of hell, he poisons one person each night so he dies the next day he can use this once per night
Famine: one of the leaders of the forces, votes to kill one person each night with the forces of hell, he starves one person killing them the next night the town is given a hint when this happens once per 2 nights

The forces of heaven
Doctor Angelx2: gets to protect one person each night
Priest: gets to perform a ritual on one person to check their color each night
Cleanser: can protect one person from poisoning each night can only protect a person twice per game
Feeder: can protect one person from starvation each night can only protect a person twice per game
Angel:can stop a horseman or demon from using there power they can do this every 3 nights

The human forces
Humanx5 get to vote on who to lynch each night
soldier:same as a town but cardflips red
Funeral priest:same as a town but cardflips dark red
Doctor:same as a town but cardflips dark green
chef:same as a town but cardflips black
Brave Soldier:gets a gun on the first day to nightkill someone on the second night if he kills a human or angel he gets his gun taken away for 2 nights

cardflip game
when someone is poisoned or starved the town is alerted with a hint
when someone is killed by death they will be alerted that death is still alive
the town will not be alerted when someone is painted or when the dispute is made
(yes very religous for some reason ,DISCLAIMER I'm not christian somehow I'm agnostic)
20 players
Pseudo-dino wrote: The forces of hell are definitely too powerful. Being able to kill up to four players each night is way too much, and their other abilities (like War being able to stop a lynch altogether) are too powerful as well. You either need to seriously buff the "town" or seriously tone down the forces of hell. Taking away a kill or two from the forces of hell and/or giving the "town" a nightkill role or similar would improve the game a lot.
Pseudo-dino 2 wrote:OK, it should be good now. Approved.
FallingSnow wrote:Maximum allowed players is 20.
There are too many members of the mafia. In a 20 player game, you should have no more than 4.
White is a bad color for text.
The colors in general seem kind of random. It might be easier to just roleflip upon death instead of cardflip.
Much better.

On all even nights, he decides to do something and if he ten keads the NK, it can't be blocked. (Strongman) Night kill can't be blocked.

Valtteri
He can annoy a user so much with Frozen references that they forget what they were up to. (Hooker) Hooked player is unable to use any power in the night.
Since he has access to the user data of the forum, he can visist a user and find out their color (Stalker) Can visit a player each night and gets told their color. Basically a Mafia-sided cop.

Level Judges (Goal: Kill all Admins and Redigit and Outnumber the good users)

Layla
Leader of the level Judges. Can annoy a user so much with Frozen that he has to use Frozen references in every post the next day. Doesn't work on Valtteri.

bossedit8
Since he is always so nice, no one suspects him to be evil (Godfather).

GMarinaX
Can check a user and make a Pokémon Card out of him. By doing that he finds out this user's color. (Stalker)
Once in the game he can make a fake card of a player. This displays the fake color if the player gets killed or inspected at night or the following day. (Disguiser) Chooses a player and a color, the player will cardflip as that color the following night and day.

Nickname
Can Sm4sh a user each night. This user is then hurt so badly that he won't be able to talk the next day. (Silencer)
Once in the game he can use a Final Smash to kill a user if he leads the night kill. This can't be blocked. (Strongman)

Normal Users (Goal: Kill all Mafia and 3P)

Blueoak
Since he is banned and his name makes for nice irony he doesn't have any special powers :(

qig
If no one dies in the first night, qig dies.
He can visit a player and find out if they are racist or not. (Cop)
He knows who Nien is and tries to fight his casual racism. He gets the special ability to Strongman kill a user one time once Nien is dead.

Nien
Gets displayed as an Admin. (Mille-Admin)
He can visit a player and throw casual racism at him, enraging the player so he has to WRITE IN CAPS the next day.
He knows who qig is and tries to fight his sarcasm. He gets the special ability to Strongman kill a user one time once qig is dead.

CaptainSyrup
Since she is about the only female member and the rest of the forum is male, she can make other players forget what they're up to with her "charm". (Hooker)

zlakergirl357
Having been a long-time Level Judge, everyone still thinks that he is one. (Miller - LJ)
Since he still has some knowledge after all this time of being a Level Judge, he knows the best tricks of surviving getting demoted. (Doc)

knux
Being a former community leader, he knows who is good and who is bad. (Cop)

GhostHawk
Being the tech guy he is, he can tinker around with a player's computer and receive all the PMs the player got from the Game Host. (Eavesdropper)

GhostBot
In this far future bots have become sentient - and so has GhostBot. Now he is giving around banhammers at will. (Gunsmith) Gives a user a banhammer (gun) each night. Can't give one to himself.

MyNameIsEric52
Having figured out how to use PMs, Eric52 can now send a PM containing tidbit about a random user to another user each night. (Penguin)

legend-tony980
He can oppress a user each night and get all PMs the user has sent the previous day and night. The oppressed user knows that he got oppressed.

Third Party (Goal: Have more then half the living users under his control)

Redigit
He returned from the depths of Terraria, and now he wants to regain power over the community. Trying to build up a new community with power, he can recruit a user each night. This user doesn't know he got recruited, but Redigit then gets told all of the user's powers, which he can use then. The recruited user isn't able to use any of his powers afterwards. If Redigit dies, all recruited users get set free. If a recruited user dies, Redigit is no longer able to use this user's power. Redigit isn't able to recruit any Admin or Mod (Layla, GhostHawk, GhostBot). If he dies, all captured users get freed.

Items

Banhammer
Allows the user to ban (kill) another user. In 50% of the cases the one who banned the user will get revealed in public.

Cardlip
Role usage is optional

Oh, and here's the original draft in all its offensive glory: http://pastebin.com/uKDjx56E

DISCLAIMER: THE STEREOTYPES IN THESE ROLES DO NOT REPRESENT MY OPINION ON THE USERS BUT THE STEREOTYPES THAT THEY ARE KNOWN FOR IN THE COMMUNITY

It seems well balanced though so if you think you can handle all the PMs it's approved.
FallingSnow wrote:Large text is your friend.
Also the blank lines between each two roles make this hard to read I think.
And some of your roles haven't been used before (Strongman), so some people may not understand them. I may recommend giving each user a more standard role description and then the "lore" or jokes, so to speak, in italics after it.
Good now.
Edit: Added a few more names of familiar roles behind the player names and slightly edited legendtony987's role (he gets the sent PMs instead of the received PMs)

I'm sorry I'm sorry. Sometimes I'll see a game and it's like "this one's good, approved" but other times the game looks like it's more complex and needs more consideration so I decide to come back to it later. No offense to anybody who has the more complex games, they do tend to be more unique but need to be looked into further for balance issues. I can check out those games I skipped now though, sorry again.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with that.

Anyhoo, I've reviewed all the games posted so far. I'll keep up with any more games that are posted too.
