A rule from talkhaus that sparked my attention

Continuing an Argument while Asking for it to End - If you are going to perpetuate a pointless argument, don't end off your post with "let's stop arguing now". If you know an argument is pointless you may be tempted to say something like that, but all in all, it has no effect and makes you look stupid.
I think it'd be pretty nice to implement that, since every time there's an argument, someone goes and does well, that.

I don't know about this. I'd rather have pointless arguments kept out of view by everyone who doesn't give a damn by having them take place in PMs or spoiler tags, since that is more of an enforceable rule than this one.

I don't think it's so much about that as it is about people not having to have the last word.

Wait what arguments on a Mario Forum? We sure have got some stuff there. And if someone does that the staff should just warn them.

That isn't what this topic is even about. Can you stop being cynical for no reason?

Right it's about the word, but people will do that anyway. People do so in real life too, it's not some community problem. That's why since it's going to happen no matter what, the entire ordeal should just be kept out of view for people who don't care at all.

Don't we do this already? We just don't have it as a written rule. If arguments have been going on for longer than they need to, then you should let a mod know, for he is very likely to put the brakes on the argument for everyone involved.
