Today's December 20th, which means that a year ago these forums opened to the public.

Thank you guys for a great year!

Happy birthday even though I've only been here for 3.5 months.

i was still the first to say happy birthday o.o

Now for me to talk about my time here. I'd have to say, this is a really great community. At first, when I registered here, I was A LOT more dedicated to the SMF community, so I wasn't very active. However, in September, I saw a Mafia game going on, and I thought it looked interesting, so I decided to participate in it. During the course of the Mafia game (it was M6), I decided to hang around the other forums, and while doing so, I realized how mature this community is. Hell, this community is more mature than the SMF community. When I first hung around here, I wasn't interested in the SMBX game, but after a while, I thought I'd try it out again, and I actually had a lot of fun creating a level (although it was extremely short due to not enough dedication to it :P). Then I made the SMB1 overworld level, and when I saw it was moved to Pretty Good, I was very satisfied, knowing how my third level was moved to a good section, and with a relatively high score, too.

My time on Mafia, I'm very happy to be introduced to such a game. Seriously, it's my favorite forum game. It's very fun, and takes a lot of logic and strategy, whether you're Town, Mafia, or a Third Party. It gets interesting after a while as well, because you start seeing suspicious people, and then they get questioned, and a big debate goes on about whether the person is innocent or not. And you get such a happy feeling when you take out a Mafioso.

As for drama, I've seen a little bit, but not nearly as much as what's in the SMF community. Thankfully, I wasn't active still when that SMBX High Council stuff was going on, because I heard that it caused quite the uproar.

To sum it up: I really love being a part of this community. I've had a lot of fun here within the four months that I've really been active in the community. The majority of users are mature, and I like that. Staff team is very good and responsible, as well. Overall, I really love this community, and I don't plan on leaving any time soon. ;)

Yey, good thing that this forum and the whole SMBX community still exist! And yeah, time flies really fast nowadays...
So happy b-day SMBX.org.

I joined in May. So like, holy hell where has the time gone?

I havent been very active these past months, but I do have to say my time as a level judge was fun. I would love to do it again when the chance is ripe. I must also say that this place isnt cut out like it was said to be. I believe there is hope for this place. All it needs is a shape up. Good first year, and may many more come.

I would love to judge a contest when the time is ripe
I'm actually pretty disappointed in myself for not joining the forums earlier, I've had SMBX since v1.2. It seems like I've missed out on a lot :(

Oh, that's pretty cool. Happy birthday to the first major SMBX forum where I was significantly active. It's been a good year, everyone, and I hope for another good one!

Knux, it's a forum with over 1000 members, there's going to be at least some drama. There's no avoiding that.

That's so much true, from what I remember there were so much things which happened here before you registered.

Only joined last month, but I'm already so appreciative for this community. Happy birthday, and I hope the forum lives on for a long, long time.
