While you are making a lot of graphics, I rather suggest to put them in a pack of the whole Days after Days Graphics from yourself to prevent overflow from your own Topics like that in multiple Pages...

...it looks relatively nice as I see but no idea if it fits to the foreground graphics all too much but oh well...

The desert one seems to fit well in a 8-bit level.

Eh I don't really like that desert BG. The cave BG looks nice though. Inspired by Donkey Kong Country Returns, perhaps?

The Cave Backround looks a little bit better than the Desert Backround in my opinion.
Since you can make a good level with this Backrounds.

Desert bg had little effort put into it, so it's legitimate that you guys think that. As for inspiration: No inspiration taken from anywhere for those two. The only Donkey Kong games I ever played are Jungle Beat and the GBA port of the first one anyways.

Bossedit had the right idea. I'm making this the official 11 Days of Emrmas Megathread. First 5 days still refer to the other topics.

Also, here's day 7: A small item which replaces the dragon coin. It can, however, also be used as a SMB3/SMW Power Star alternative if the npc number is changed. Think of it as the star on top of the christmas tree.

Hm... reception of day 7's item seemingly wasn't that good. I can agree with that I could've swapped some things around in the order. For example, today's gift:

It's a simple grass tileset and the last official gift before we're getting to the REALLY GOOD STUFF. I've got awesome gifts for the next three days which will be of better quality than anything else I've posted here so far!

While the left one might need the creation of some new assets for the game, I think the right one makes for an amazing scenery in standard space levels!

These look really sweet, but I'm afraid people won't be able to find fitting tilesets due to the high quality and the non-mario style. Maybe a metroid-ish level, who knows?

All of these things look great. i'm expecting some really good stuff coming up.

Do you work for Relogic in creating the backgrounds for Terraria because the backgrounds remind me of Terraria a lot.
