Super Mario Bros. X Forums

There really should be a LunaDLL section in the forum. This would make it easier to find tutorials and information about lunaDLL than having just one thread for it that's reached 86 pages, and is kinda impossible to look through and find how to do something specific. I know people have been posting the LunaDLL stuff in the graphics section, but that can be misleading. For instance, it took me forever to find the "How to make a custom HUD" topic because I forgot where it was and I had no idea where to look.

I actualy agree, it can get annoying trying to locate where to look! I put a lunadll request n the graphics request section because of this!

Would be an interesting sub-forum in General...

I would support something to this effect for LunaDLL and Lua

I can see how it would be useful to have a subforum for that. Consider this, however; What if we had a subforum for all the SMBX add-ons, like PGE, Lua, etc?

In fact, they should make a section called "Add-ons" and put all the add-ons there as sub-forums.

This is a good idea, I'm surprised FanOfSmbx didn't suggest it...

As a developer of LunaDLL I can only +1up this idea. Because Lunadll topics are way to spread out.
People who have questions currently post in "Help & Support"-Forum.
People who want to show their work with dll post it in "Graphics"-Forum.
And the rest is either posting in "General" or in the Lunadll topic by Valtteri.
For me it is way to spread out. An own category would help a lot.

I would also like to hear what the staff has to say about it.

This needs to happen, it's way too confusing to find anything for LunaDLL. The main thread is impossible to search through, and the others are spread out absolutely everywhere.

Completely agree with everything OP said. This just needs to happen.

I support this too, LunaDLL is becoming more and more widespread and it'd be good to have a forum for it.

You think expanding the idea of just a LunaDLL forum to an add-on in general forum only deserves a thread. That's actually just saying that the LunaDLL thread should be a LunaDLL/Lua/any other add-on thread.

But you agree with everything else stated. I feel like you misunderstood his suggestion.

Err, yes I did. I don't think I was clear either. These other add-ons can be condensed into a thread since I don't think there would be too many threads for them, unlike LunaDLL which has significantly more content. Also, I misread the statement as if each add-on should have its own sub-forum.

Therefore we need the common sub-forum for any add-ons and useful applications and tools for SMBX and included sub-forums for each big part: LunaDLL/LunaLUA, PGE, VSMBX, and "SMBX Misc. Tools" (Episode manager, NPC.txt Editor, Calibrator, copy-paste tool, etc..) for any other small tools.

Example the "Levels" sub-forum: http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... m.php?f=32, where we have included forums "Casual", "Battle", "Best", "Pretty Good", etc.
