This is cool. I like the clouds.

Edit: Let me do a longer review than the one that I just did. The level design is nice. The brick blocks however get in your way in the beginning. The red spiny ball being ejected from the bottom end of the pipe is a waste because the ball would just roll off the cliff every time. The recolored sand tile set is fantastic for this kind of level. The clouds kind of bring back the 8 bit version of smb3. The orange hills do clash with the brown hills. That is all.

Score: 9/10 (Just so you know, this score doesn't affect you. I cannot move this thread to any rank of the forum).

Uh...goombaguy, what are your standards?

Anyway, for an average level, this actually has a bit of variation to it. However, there are two jumps that bring the level down:

There's this one, which is just really annoying (plus, the Chomp afterward is placed in such a way to where it will hit first-time players).

And there's this one, which has the Koopa placed in such a way where the player barely has any time to react to it and is almost guaranteed to get hit.

Aside from those two jumps, this is a fairly well made average desert level, and there's not much else that can be said about it. I'd say this deserves a 4/10.
