I'm doing an article for the upcoming first issue of this and I'm making a separate thread so more people will see it and hopefully take part!

I want you guys to send me a PM and name your favourite SMBX episode ever. Don't post it in this thread - PM me. I'll take note.

And so when the first issue comes out (which will likely be January), I'll add the list.

I think Mario Classic

Apocalypse of Foroze, hands down. Yeah, episodes like Mario Classic, NGCA, and Super Mario Star Expedition were all great and everything, but none of them can compare to the glory of AOF. It has a great story, awesome and fitting music, good gameplay elements, amazing graphics, a well-designed and eye-pleasing world map, creative bosses, and a mind-blowing EPIC final boss. Plus the final world, which was pretty good, although the final level was a big letdown (I expected a show down with Foroze's master). Can't wait for the second one, although I wish they take as long as they did designing the first one, so the quality will be extremely high.

Might be wise to point out that you can only vote for ONE episode, and it has to be a fully-completed one. No projects.

I'm gonna have to vote for Super Mario Star Expedition by Chad. I found the project to be very enjoyable. It had a nice length and, most importantly, every level felt very unique. There weren't levels that felt the same as another and were executed well. My only complaint was how this project pretty much required you to check every last pipe in the level (and each one would have a good amount because pirahna plants) if you wanted to get most of the stars.

Nah, I actually think Valtteri Island: Revisited. All the levels are well designed, and it's just fun to play through. It's just the right length to not get boring, and yet long enough to enjoy. It also has a very good level of difficulty, not to mention great graphics.

It sort of ended way too short for me.

Well, to each his own. The opinions here are gonna vary anyways. After all, if everyone thought in the same way we wouldn't need this topic.

Mario Classic, that episode gets Mario design.

i have many favorite episodes but i can say Valtteris Island,the invasion 2 and return to dinosaur Island is one of my best episodes and i hope they make the invasion 3 shadow star a really good and enjoyable episode with a good story

Well I Am very Partial to an episode called "Super RMN World" But it is from Rpgmaker.net and has never been posted on SMBX forums.

It can be any episode you like.
