Because of this thread, it is confirmed that after Red (Redigit) has finished with 1.3 (dont ask what that means), he will move from Terraria to make a remake of SMBX called:
SuperX.

Hold on, hold on, based on what I'm seeing in that topic there's really no confirmation that this is actually happening. Super X has been a rumor for several years now, but until Redigit or one of his associates says it's happening I'm not going to assume it's real.

Would be awesome though.

Redigit didn't post in that thread - that was all based off of rumors.

Super X was an idea for a game/level editor (literally SMBX without the Mario Bros.) that Redigit had in 2012. He made a few sprites for it and then not much was heard from him about it after that. If I remember correctly, Cenx mentioned in once or twice in the past few years but nothing more than "it's an idea that's on the backburner" was said. Also, Redigit posted a thread on Knux's forum in 2013 about "what if I made a game like SMBX but without Nintendo sprites".

In other words, nothing is new and we don't need to talk about it.
