I have a new level for you guys, well, actually it's about a year old, but anyway. Timber Side was an early development level for Utopia. After a few changes it was scrapped (but kept with all of my own levels). Not-so-long ago I decided to use Timber Side Hills once more in Utopia. Though, I would like your thoughts on the level itself. It contains a Music Box for you to collect, once you find the way that gets you into the area with it of course. This level also includes an underground music track not used in SMBX before. It also debuts the Tail Chomp in Utopia, which unfortunately will succumb to a spin-jump.

There are also a few items which I don't want to be used by anyone else at the moment. These include the Super Mushroom, Checkpoint Mushroom and the Goal Cards. I specifically made those for Utopia only. Like Sednaiur's project, once Utopia is done and dusted feel free to use them as you wish.

Also, if there is a chance, I would like to see how this level fairs in a review if anyone can spare the time. :)

I played it. I liked everything in the level, the music box was a bit hard to get.

Why you don't want the people using these items if them are in the New GFX Pack?

Review - Timber Side Hills

Design: 8/10

This would be a great first world level for an episode, as it's very beginner-friendly; It introduces a few more challenging obstacles, such as the Para-Chomps and SM64 Piranha Plants, but they're still easy to pass through by using shells and fire flowers. The enemies also help differentiate it from most generic grass levels. The layout itself is also nicely done, with interesting landscapes and good use of slopes.

Aesthetics: 4/5

The graphics used fit pretty well together, and seem like something out of a Mario game; simple, but it works well. They helped giving the level a classic atmosphere, while still being different from most generic tilesets. Decoration was used nicely; the level never felt empty or lacking aesthetically. The music used also fits the level well, even if a bit generic.

Overall: 8/10 (12/15)

A great level overall. It doesn't try to innovate with a new and creative idea or be one of the best levels, but it's still a very fun level to play. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
