Review - Piranha Hills
Design: 4/10
Honestly, while it has some potential, the level's design needs some work; it's way too short, and doesn't actually try to develop the Piranha theme; it ends up feeling incomplete due to that. Extending it and working a bit on some gimmicks would make it way better. There needs to be some sort of indication on those grounded piranha plants, as they are a bit confusing as they are now, and it looks just plain weird; I would recommend keeping them in pipes, personally. Some more variation on the enemy choice would also be nice.
Design-wise I'd recommend restarting the level, though; right now it's rather annoying to play through, mostly due to the piranha plant placement and weird small platforms. Some of the level also feels unnecessarily cramped, such as the first volcano lotus. The slopes also don't feel very natural, but that's more of a personal issue I have.
Aesthetics: 2/5
Nice, average aesthetics. It isn't anything new or creative, but works well. There are a few strange choices here and there, such as the SMB1 piranha plants in a primarily SMB3-styled level, but they're mostly acceptable.
Overall: 4/10 (6/15)
Even if it has a "just another level" feel to it, it could actually be a fun experience with some more work. I recommend trying to make your levels a bit longer
