This is the second custom tileset I've made (I haven't posted the first). From Mario and Luigi Dream Team.

It looks nice, but It needs more shading on the black and grey parts.

Yo, I think you forgot to put black outlines around the BGOs? xD

I'm going to add onto this to say not only that, but it just needs more detail in the middle in general. Try making different middle tiles and see what you come up with. I can show you what it's like to do something like that (except, don't go around stealing my Halberd tiles lol):

Also, I like the fences idea you started there because it does indeed look a bit factory-like, which could be categorized as being "neo." There are some really great ideas in this tileset, but it's not yet realized and complete--it needs more work.

Thank you both for the constructive criticism!

@SuperStar
Now that you point that out, I realize that. (Duh.) I'm going to fix that.

@SilverDeozys563
Thanks for pointing out that BGO thing! It looks kinda bad without an outline.

As for the middle tiles (I call them "fill tiles"), I tried to make the tileset look like this:

Ohh! I had no idea this was based off of a particular Bowser castle!
In that case, you could probably try working on differently colored middle tiles (green, red, blue, yellow, dark gray) that have the Bowser face in them somewhere. That should depict what you're basing the tileset off of fairly well.

^ This, and the tileset could use more shading and trying to make it more ''neo'' styled like the name says, like making the screws a bit darker and make them change from size. By the way, good job.

Wow! It looks really interesting !
I love the style used, especially that fence-tileset.
It sounds very creative and innovative.
Hope you will update it very soon ...
Good job ! ^-^
